I assume it's dead since they aren't wanting to just release the cards themselves over finding a printer essentially all of which consider it copyright violation.

I think japes is coming up with a work around.
A lot of focus is on 2.0 right now. I am sure at some point the entire 1.0 library will be available in poker style.

What's the story with this? I guess I might have seen mentions but I don't know what this means. When did 2.0 start?

I'm hoping a card printing solution gets figured out. Cards kind of feel like the barrier to onboarding new players.

2.0 is a work in progress. We have a working rulebook and have begun work on a starter deck.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Yeah, eventually all of 1.0 will be available in poker style.
2.0 will be exclusively poker style.
Just need to be a little patient.

This is correct. Eventually all of 1.0 will be available.

There are many of the cards posted here as well...
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Sorry,where?cannot find them, on c3g sections i still see the angular ones
it may be confusion on a future 2.0 C3G project which will be poker sized by default. As of now C3G official cards are the standard Heroscape shape. But you can find a lot of the cards in rectangle size in the link in the post immediately above this one.
