At the start of the game you may choose one Unique Hero you control to be Matt Murdock's Client. After revealing an Order Marker on his Client’s card and taking a turn with that Hero, you may move Matt Murdock up to 4 spaces.

PUBLIC DEFENDER
While Matt Murdock is adjacent to his Client, if either is targeted for an attack by a figure within 4 spaces, you may reveal an “X” Order Marker on this card. If you do, Matt and his Client may not be targeted for any attacks or special powers for the rest of the targeting figure's turn.

Matt chooses Huntress as his client.
Round 1: Initiative Public Defenders. Huntress moves up and Matt, Batgirl, and Robin all move up with her.
Donatello staff vaults forward but can’t throw Raphael up.
Huntress advances and cannot hit Donatello with her crossbow. The rest of the gang moves up as well. Robin can’t hit Donatello either.
Mikey moves up, Cowabungas, and moves up again.
Huntress and Robin fail to hit Donnie, while the other two advance.
Leo advances. Mikey uses the “X” to attack Batgirl for two wounds from height.

Round 2: Initiative Turtles. Leo puts a wound on Batgirl from height, then is counter struck for four quick wounds. Turtle Power! Mikey tries targeting Matt, but he uses Public Defender, so Mikey targets Batgirl but whiffs from height and is counter struck to death! Donatello hits Matt for a wound with the Bo Staff. Raphael advances. He hits Huntress for two wounds, but takes four back for Ruthless Counter Strike.
Huntress and Robin both fail attacks.
Huntress can’t hit Raph, Robin KO’s Leo.
Huntress KO’s Raph. Robin can’t hit Donnie.

Round 3: Initiative Donatello. He throws Huntress into molten lava, hits her for a wound, and the lava finishes her off, wiping her team’s round.
Donatello destroys Batgirl with the Anti-Grav Gauntlet, then throws Matt into lava and kills him as well.

Round 4: Initiative Donatello. He staff vaults, but can’t hit Daredevil with either of two attacks.
Daredevil and Robin both fail to hit Donnie.
Donnie fails to throw Daredevil.
Daredevil and Robin both fail to hit Donnie.
Donnie fails to throw Daredevil.
Daredevil and Robin both fail to hit Donnie.

Round 5: Initiative Public Defenders. Daredevil hits Donnie for two wounds. Robin collects the Gauntlet, but fails to throw Donnie.
Donatello takes a swipe from Daredevil, but goes and hits Robin for a wound.
Daredevil finishes Donatello.

Unit Summary: This one was mostly big counter strike wounds and throwing into lava, but Matt’s powers were all used and all felt useful. Public Defender was a nicely useful power without feeling overpowering.

Round 1: Initiative Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic moves up with his whole crew.
Jessica Jones advances. Luke Cage follows, with Matt in tow.
Human Torch tries to Flame On, but misses it (and two swipes miss him) then his attack on Jessica Jones is blocked. Mister Fantastic advances.
Scarlet Spider and Luke both fail attacks on Human Torch, while Matt advances.
Human Torch, Crystal, and Mister Fantastic all fail to do anything, but Crystal places her outcrop and Mister Fantastic locks down Luke Cage. Daredevil stops one targeting of Luke.
Scarlet Spidey and Luke also can’t get anything done.

Round 2: Initiative Fantastic Four. Human Torch takes a swipe flaming on Luke and Matt, then fails an attack on Jessica. Mister Fantastic falls back, rubber wraps Scarlet Spidey, and hits him for a wound.
Jessica Jones punches Invisible Woman for two wounds and Luke does for two more. Matt can’t follow Luke fast enough but does engage Human Torch and Mister Fantastic.
Human Torch takes a swipe but Flames On Jessica and Matt (KO’ing Matt). Torch can’t hit Scarlet Spidey, Invisible Woman moves and fails to hit Jessica, then Mister Fantastic ties up Luke and Jessica and hits Jessica for a wound.
Scarlet Spidey can’t hit Invisible Woman and Luke can’t hit Mister Fantastic.
Human Torch flames on Scarlet Spider for two wounds, but neither he nor Invisible Woman can wound Spider with an attack. Mister Fantastic can’t hit Jessica.
Scarlet Spidey can’t hit Invisible Woman and Luke can’t hit Mister Fantastic.

Round 3: Daredevil is placed. Initiative Defenders. Daredevil double attacks Invisible Woman, but can’t hit her. Luke can’t hit Mister Fantastic.
Human Torch takes a swipe and Flames On Jessica and Scarlet Spider to KO both of them. Daredevil hears his attack coming. Crystal and Invisible Woman both fail attacks on Luke, then Mister Fantastic hits Luke for a third wound.
Daredevil finally KO’s Invisible Woman on the second of two attacks. Luke hits Mister Fantastic for a wound.
Human Torch takes a swipe for a fourth wound, then Flames On Daredevil, but has his attack blocked. Cyrstal catches Luke whiffing and KO’s him. Mister Fantastic locks down Daredevil and hits him for one wound.
Luke had OM3.
Human Torch tries to Flame On but is KO’ed. Crystal can’t hit Daredevil. Mister Fantastic does, but Daredevil goes the distance and survives.

Round 4: Initiative Fantastic Four, who double tap him with kill shots from Crystal and then Mister Fantastic.

Unit Summary: Mister Fantastic rolled hot on his leadership and Invisible Woman lasted at least a round too long. Matt was useful as a deterrent here.

Batman advances and tosses Batarangs at Iron Fist (1 wound), Luke (nothing), and Matt (nothing). Robin advances and hits Matt for two wounds from range while following the Secret Attack Plan.
Moon Knight advances, but misses both of the Dynamic Duo with his darts. Luke punches up at Batman for two quick wounds and Matt follows closely.

Round 2: Initiative New Avengers. Matt engages Batman but can’t hit.
Batman hits Luke for a wound. Robin KO’s Matt.
Moon Knight hits both Batman and Robin with darts. Luke whiffs an attack while on asphalt.
Batman hits Luke for a wound. Robin can’t.
Iron Fist gets hit by Evasive Strike, but heals Luke a wound. Luke can’t hit Robin.
Batman and Robin both fail to hit anyone.

Round 3: Initiative Gotham Knights. Batman hits Luke for a wound. Robin can’t.
Moon Knight KO’s Batman with a dart and Luke KO’s Robin with a fist.
Black Canary advances and screams at the full crowd, hitting Luke for two wounds.
Iron Fist hits Black Canary for a wound, then heals Luke a wound. Luke hits Canary for two wounds.
Black Canary follows the Secret Attack Plan and KO’s Iron Fist, then whiffs against Luke. Green Arrow doesn’t have a shot for Cupid’s Arrow, thanks to a tree.
Daredevil KO’s Canary and Luke advances.

Round 4: Initiative New Avengers. Daredevil circles and hits Green Arrow for two wounds from range. Luke hits from the other side, but Arrow blocks in melee.
Speed Shot fails to hit Luke, but Green Arrow follows the Secret Attack Plan and puts a fourth wound on Luke.
Daredevil KO’s Green Arrow, but can’t hit Red Arrow.
Red Arrow rolls poorly and can’t hit Daredevil.
Daredevil can’t hit either.
Red Arrow unleashes three brutal attacks and KO’s Daredevil once, then twice, to finish him.

Round 5: Initiative Gotham Knights. Red Arrow can’t hit Luke.
Luke punches Oracle for a wound.
Red Arrow KO’s Luke.
Moon Knight hits Red Arrow with a dart.
Oracle advances.
Moon Knight hits Oracle with a dart, but misses Red Arrow.

Round 6: Initiative Moon Knight. He hits both foes with darts.
Red Arrow follows the Secret Attack Plan and tags Moon Knight for a wound.
Moon Knight misses both darts.
Red Arrow hits Moon Knight for two wounds.
Moon Knight misses both darts.
Red Arrow finishes it.

Unit Summary: Matt served as a deterrent early, though he missed out on a chance to be more effective due to Iron Fist wanting the X as well. It was a close battle that truly felt it could go either way and just came down to dice in the end.

He's pretty fun. He's mostly there to gum up the works and give you a delayed entrance for Daredevil. I think he could probably drop slightly in cost and be fine.

I might think over what makes for good army builds, but something like that, yeah.

Could put him at 80, then possible Foggy could be 20 and Nelson and Murdoch would be 100, maybe a 20 point Karen too.
Opens up DD+Foggy for 200 or DDII+Matt+Foggy could be 300.

Yes, In Blind Justice, Attorney needs to be changed to Citizen.
