Game 2: Wolverine again with 2 life this time.


Trying her out with the Mystery Men since she kinda works with Hawkman. It was an ok army, nothing super great. Spider Ma'am didn't really tip things for or against. Not super worried about her disrupting the JSA at all since she doesn't do anything super crazy and doesn't really interact with much of their other synergy terribly well. And honestly the Mystery Men side of that faction is still a bit fiddly anyway.

Game 1: Megatron with 4 life.
Game 2: wannbe Thor Spidey at full health.


Trying a Spider-Army though not something I'm super familiar with. The army in general felt better since it's a bit more straight forward. Spider-Ma'am was still just filler. Kinda useful, not anything game changing, but she did well enough.

Overall: She feels pretty good to me. She's basically just filler but that's fine. Her protection / autowound thing is kinda useful, but your opponent can deal with it if they have to and its not really worth investing too many resources into keeping her in position for it.

Glyphs were fun and didn't feel overpowered or anything. I'm a bit worried that the Special Dough could be concerning on another food dude / general glyph bringer though. Potentially pretty powerful effect. But probably fine as long as we don't get a card that can spam multiple copies of it.

Instead of her normal move, Spider-Ma’am may move up to 4 spaces with Swing Line. When moving with Swing Line, Spider-Ma’am has the Flying special power, but may not move up or down more than 40 levels in a single swing, and will not take any leaving engagement attacks.

Baking Arsenal: Dough is a bit much against Sandman

Not a Frail Old Woman: Only got to roll unblockables twice and failed both.

Kraven was hunting Otto.

There could only be one Otto and the Sinister Six took out Superior Spider-Man at the start of round 3. The Spiders kinda fell apart after that and the Sinister Six only lost a couple of members.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Vulture and Mysterio with one wound each, Electro and Sandman with 2 wounds each, Doc Ock with 3 wounds

Baking Arsenal: Pie was great and saved Spider-Knight's life, Dough was once again a bit strong here against Mister Incredible.

Not a Frail Old Woman: Got to roll unblockables three times and and got wounds on Dash twice.

Once Mister Incredible was neutralized for a round, it was easy for the Spiders to take out Violet and Elastigirl and really demolish the Incredibles synergy.

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Ghost Spider with 2 wounds, Spider-Man Transformers with 3 wounds

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: I think the strongest thing here is the Dough and it's probably the strongest Food Glyph by a good bit. I think it should prevent movement only for a single player turn probably.

Still plenty useful, and she's cheap filler with 2 other glyphs.

As is, the Dough is going to be an auto-pick for any figure who can start with a Food Glyph of their choice.

One thing with this wording, what happens if your entire army is destroyed by a third player before your next player turn? It's a niche scenario but adding something like the red bit would prevent an accidental permanent lockdown. It's also niche enough that if we don't want to worry about it, that's probably okay too.

If we're worried about that, I'd personally rather say something like "until your next player turn or the end of the round." Because with your wording if you have figures A and B, with B being doughed, then figure A could kill Spider-Ma'am and free up B to move if they can bond (Or with something like Titans Go).
