Oh, so it wasn't intentional at all then? I wasn't sure, as it makes a fair bit of thematic sense for like Mystique or some such to attack someone to 'trick' him into flying around or whatever. It just gets too messy with multi-attacks unfortunately. If it wasn't ever an intentional feature it probably should be errataed then.

I thought it was brought up elsewhere. I think I remember Griffin bringing it up as a definite tactic he uses.

I don't recall him mentioning using that tactic with Angel. Perhaps it was Deathreavers he would use it for? I don't know, but I don't believe that the intent of this design was to use it that way, and I didn't find anything when looking through this thread where it was discussed.

I agree it wasn't the intent. I just believed it was discussed & let go. At a stretch of my memory it might have been when discussing tactics for him in a ProfX build so it might be in his thread or another thread discussing another figure that would go into a team built around them. But hey I could be mis-remembering completely.

So we should make the following change:

After Angel or any small or medium figure you control within 3 clear sight spaces of Angel rolls defense dice against a normal attack from an opponent's figure, you may immediately fly up to 6 spaces with Angel. If Angel passes over a friendly small or medium figure, after moving Angel you may place that figure on any empty space adjacent to Angel. A friendly figure moved by Guardian Angel will not take any leaving engagement attacks. Angel may not move more than one friendly figure when using Guardian Angel.
Also, if we think he needs to be nerfed a bit, we could also add "Once per turn" to the beginning of the power so he doesn't run around guarding a bunch of different figures in a single turn with multiple attacks.

Guardian Angel updated in the SP to specify the long-held intent that it only triggers from attacks by enemy figures. @japes is this one you are able to update?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.
