Good, I got the same the box for all those miniatures on the 20th. I do wonder why the maker went to mark 3 instead of the earlier models like mark 2 or mark 1.

Probably for the same reason that we got Deathwalker 9000 or Major Q9 before any earlier versions. The creators liked the sound of it and in a game about pulling stuff from throughout time, why not?

Mark 2 was basically a large fax machine. As big as a one-story house, but all it really did was you could put a piece of paper in a little slot, like a mailbox, march around to the other side and type in a phone number, and a copy of the piece of paper went to that number.

Not much use on the battlefield. And nobody ever could figure out what happened to the piece of paper, either.

Mark 1 got destroyed by the boys who starred in the Hollywood film, "Office Space".

Mark I was blown up - Mark II disappeared the moment it was finished. No one has yet worked out why.
