It happened to me so it was an epic moment for my brother in law but we were playing a 500 point game of ullar vs. vydar he won initiative and move syvarris to within range of Q10 (my first time trying to use him) and 2 arrows later Q10 is dead as is my first 2 order markers. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to roll initaiative. needless to say I lost that game. The blastitrons and gladiatrons made short work of sonlen but when you let him get surrounded by 4 gladitrons and three blastitrons have high ground no elf is going to survive a round of 6 attack dice. One roll was 5 skulls.

I played the spider battle in the jungle rules and ended the game with all my points and the spiders.

I agree that the term "epic" unless applied to certain types of literature is unattractive and useless, not to mention the previously not mentioned bad associations.

As far as Heroscapers.com goes …. The word “Epic” possibly could be put on the list of banned or censored words that the site will not let you type. That may keep some unpleasant memories from popping up.

Just a thought ... don't know it can be done.
