Great scenarios, lots of variety in maps and # of players. I like that we're seeing creative uses of the castles--the idea of a makeshift or damaged door is a good one, seeing as how the darn things are so hard to take out.

Coming this winter, in Large Expansion 3...

Ludicrous sized figures.

Anyway, I played the bloodred river map with a friend last night. Pretty cool map. We played the "2 cards at a time" scenario. That ended up as one huge battle for the bridge in order to get those 100 point reinforcements. At the end of the 12th round my friend one the game by 20 points.

*sigh* Now I have to buy another tundra... I'm excited about SOTM and how it looks and I also love these castle battles.
It still seems that lava is still the TRU-exclusive red-headed-stepchild of the HS franchise, though

Hmmm...I think this new Marro creature w/ rider might be larger than Huge. Does anyone know what his size/stats are yet? Or even his name?

I believe he will be Tor-Kul-Na (did I spell that right?), but I doubt he will be huger than huge.

Listen, lad, I built this kingdom up from nothing. All I had when

I started was swamp ... other kings said I was daft to build a

castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same ... just to show 'em.

It sank into the swamp. So I built a another one ... that sank

into the swamp. I built another one ... That fell over and THEN

sank into the swamp .... So I built another ... and that stayed up.
