Part of the issue is that we didn't use an art post in the old threads and the images are sometimes hurried in the thread and half of those are broken. It's a lot of hunting. I think we've eight is as far as I got before I skipped ahead to newer waves that I knew had art posted. I'd start at wave nine and search the threads for art and just add the links in the first post to that post. Then we can compile a list by save of missing minis and try to come up with a plan B.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

I have a few more partial waves completed. I'll upload them as I complete the Waves. Just letting you know I'm back working on this.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

I don’t know how I stumbled upon this convo....

It looks like a lot of the old pics got deleted. If so, it might be impossible to find the links in the “book of...” pages. Is there another source/archive of old pics?

Can they be sourced from others? Does a3n have pics ‘backed up?’ I see he is credited with “art” on many of the cards...

Ahh the tech concerns of a decade past .... Yeah, I think we'll just have to recreate some from scratch. If we can compile a tidy list of cards we need comic art for, I think that would help. Luckily a lot of the older ones would be bigger name characters.

In the older books sometimes the images are linked in a random post in the thread unlike newer books where we put a link on the first page.

Sometimes all the links are just gone. I have sourced many from A3n but that's not always possible either. The comic art isn't too hard to find. It's mini photos that are the real issue. Luckily, the way I display the mini on these cards means I don't need as great a photo. Sometimes I can find a picture online. It's just the extra time searching takes time.

Billy Batson and Captain Marvel would be great. I don't have the mini and all online images are of the combo figure so I've never been able to work that one out.
