Yeah robopesant i think this thread would fit in "Off-Topic- General" or at least somewhere besides this forum. Besides, most of this isn't even custom.

It's Apparent that eBay Buyers think these prices are Outrageous, so He thought that Someone Here would Bite......

Re: Selling my huge Heroscape collection!

I think its fair to say some of these starting bids look more like really competative and generous finishing bids (if you think its not so bad, look at shipping may be different for you). Except for the lava, thats at a really at almost bargain price for terrain only. Then depending on your feelings on custom terrain prices may be pretty good.

Where are the figures?

Where are the figures?

Isn't it all relevant to what someone is willing to pay?

If you don't like the price then don't bid on it.

I did not see in the listings where it said he was holding a gun to your head to buy his stufff.

Isn't the entire point to posting on here to see what other people think. If he posted it in the trade thread maybe not so much, but this is in custom terrain.

Anyways, I never said they were high prices I just said that his starting prices were more like winning bids. When people put high end starting bids it scares people from bidding and then people who may normally bid that price see that no one was bid on the item and become weary to bid themselves. Then I just went ahead and complimented the low price for the lava set and the customs.
Maybe I should have said it like that to begin with.

Or... maybe I was driving people away from the things I wanted and towards the things I didn't to bid on them for myself .

You will never know for sure .

Seems elves are not the only thing that you're envious of...

Look, dude did what he did, put the link here, caveat emptor. So what's the sense in Bill O'Reillying it to death and analyzing his motives? Who cares? Go back to scaping, guys.
