Unofficial Marvel Valkyrie Draft, Complete
Welcome to the unofficial draft for the Marvel figures into the five Valkyrie armies (now six). This is just for fun. It’s to see how we, as a community, would put the Marvel characters into the original game. Enjoy.
If you are unfamiliar to the Marvel figures check out The Books of Marvel We're done. Here are the unique point standings and the Marvel Units Drafted. Well, with the point standings and the green color scheme, I'd think Hulk would be a no brainer for Ullar's #1 draft pick.
Though that kid from Zenn-La's got game ... C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

So, with Surfer and Hulk off the board, does Jandar go for points and grab Thanos, or does it go for theme and grab Captain America?
The word we're getting from Jandar's General (manager) is that they're very disappointed Silver Surfer wasn't there when they picked and that all of their efforts to trade up didn't amount to anything. "A Valiant superhero with a hit-and-run attack like that?" Jandar said. "You betcha we wanted him. But this draft is full of powerhouses, and we need to look to our future." edit: A breaking story reveals that Jandar was willing to part with the third overall pick, a high second round pick, Eldgrim, and all the Omnicron Snipers. But Vydar knew who they wanted and stuck to their (fully automatic) guns. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I'd put both Surfer and Captain America in Jandar. His colors are Silver and Blue and they're both Valiant as well.
I'd put the Abomination in for Ullar. He looks like he'd go well with the Snakes. Doom's green cloak might fit here well. Venom definitely goes in Vydar. Doom might fit well here too. I'd lean on Thanos in Einar. Both for the purple/gold color and for the personality. I'd also say the Hulk could go here with his purple pants, but he might fit in Ullar too. Red Skull is made for Utgar. No idea for Spiderman or Iron Man

I could see Iron Man going Einar.
Spidey's too good at heart not to go Ullar or Jandar - and with the blue in his costume, I'd say Jandar. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Then Utgar goes for the upset by drafting Spider-Man in the first round since nobody picked him up yet.
He then sends old Spidey into the pit with Krug hoping big green will learn how to stick it out in a fight. After that is done, Spidey gets bound and gaged to be humiliated with the constant beatings from the orcs. Taylord looks over him and says, "I may cost more than you, but you're not getting my attack bonus. Anyway, I'm sending Runa over to try to curse you for all eternity." I suppose Utgar could just go ahead and mind shackle anyone who didn't want to join his army. If we're going soley on how the draft pick would boost the army's effectiveness, though, and not anything else like theme, here's how I'd see it going.
Round 1 Ullar - Hulk Vydar - Silver Surfer Jandar - Captain America (a surprise to see him taken so early, but Jandar couldn't resist the urge to build those Cap + 4th Mass x4 500 point tourney armies) Einar - Thanos (They don't feel bad about Jandar passing on him!) Utgar - Abomination (They need a reliable Hulk counter) Round 2 Ullar - Iron Man (They loved the idea of adding a ranged flier) Vydar - Dr. Doom (Figured he'd like all the robots) Jandar - Spider Man (Again they defy the odds and decline to take Red Skull, just because he wouldn't fit together with Cap well). Einar - Red Skull (Master Manipulator compliments their disciplined ranks so well) Utgar - Venom (Now they have a Spidey killer as well) C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Don't forget, the second round will be effected by first round points.

Ah, I didn't know there were reseedings between rounds. In that case, here's how I think the second round would go.
Second Round Jandar - Iron Man Ullar - Dr. Doom Vydar - Venom (they consider Red Skull, but Venom just feels soo Vydar) Einar - Red Skull Utgar - Spider Man C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Well, things kind of fell apart for Peter Parker and he really began to slide after Jandar got a shot to have Iron Man over him.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
