Mithril armor. Lighter than your daily clothes and will stop everything. Could be placed under leather armor with nice mesh eyes.

*Swordsman in Mithril armor walks boldly toward gun emplacements and severs barrels with obsidian blades leaving carnage in his wake while he is unwounded.

I have wings and wicked awesome Counterstrike.

Trust me on this, I am INSANE

Well, that depends on the dessert. If it's something at room temperature, like strawberry shortcake or pulled taffy, the armor should be fine. However, if it is subjected to something like Bananas Foster, which is lit on fire before it is served, or God forbid one of those pies from MacDonald's, then it's hosed.

So you're partly right. The DragonSkin armor can withstand most desserts (including, I presume, ice cream, but not necessarily Slurpees). However, desserts at the extreme ends of cold or hot will cause irreparable harm.

The desert, being a fairly hot place, is proven to cause the armor to become nothing but worthless, dead weight.

And that bit about the armor being super lightweight - that's just hogwash. Even the manufacturers of DragonSkin admit that it's quite a bit heavier than what the military uses now.
God forbid the chocolate truffles!

guns all the way. Barret m80 50 cal. Nice for shooting people, Even better at making sure they can't find you. After all, how do you search in the direction the bullet came from if the entry and exit wound are the size of your fist.
