That's correct.
Here's what's now in use in the TTS mod (I've just released wave 5.5 to the workshop), based on what WeirdoWithBeardo was able to salvage from the Hatamoto Taro scan:

Hatamoto Taro obj
Hatamoto Taro texture

I'm afraid the above is only 2.5k triangles, I don't know if WwB has got a more detailed version. Is this any of any help to move the Hexscape project onwards?

I made a save before I decimated as I'm not sure what amount of triangles you guys usually use so I just made it to around 3.5k as I usually make the models if you guys can give me a number im sure I can sort it out

On a figure the size and complexity of Hatomoto, I'd usually go about two to three times that many tri's (7k - 10k), but I'll take whatever you've got.

Thanks, guys!

Glad to be of help, I would have removed the extra texture myself but my modelling skills are very limited

I'm by no means an expert myself. I just use the knife tool to cut away anything that looks extra, sew up the leftover mesh with "join vertices," then use the airbrush tool to touch up the paint so that the seams aren't so visible. I don't think much skill is involved, it just takes forever to do.

I can imagine. But if it wasn't for the tutorial made by you guys I wouldn't have had any idea how to prep the models

Yeah, that was @Lyrgard 's handiwork. I couldn't get the hang of texture baking until he figured it out.

I'm glad these models are seeing use in different projects.

Re: The Heroscape Tabletop Simulator Mod needs YOUR help.

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place to post... I just got Tabletop Simulator when I saw that you guys had done all this work. First of all, thank you so much for doing it. I'm so excited about it.

But I was wondering if anyone has made a gameplay tutorial about how to actually use all these items that show up? I did the basic Tabletop Simulator tutorial so I get the *basic* controls... but I am totally at a loss as to how to proceed with playing a game of Heroscape once I load all the stuff in.

I can send you some links to different setups that have worked for us if you're interested.
