Online, we have only one thing to understand someone else.

Perception.

Perhaps in real life this is true as well, but here online, you only have words to guide you.

Offen times, people can get very strong willed and egos can flare up.
If you precive that someone is wrong, no matter what, to you- they are.
Quite offen online, this leads to hard feelings, and can result in bad words.

Its not uncommon for someone to take what is said out of turn, and regardless of what the orginal intent of what you said or in this case, posted- be the person that says "Sorry."

And if your on the side that belives they were wrong, be the one to say "I forgive."

Regardless, its inproant to know that perseption is yours and yours alone, you can not effect what other people see you as.

Perhaps this post will be percived as nonsence, who knows?

But, hopefully, you can look at yourself, take a step back, and next time you think something about someone, rember - its your preception of that person.

At best, if you don't agree with someone, avoid them.
If someones persona is rubbing you the wrong way, you really can not do anything other then to ingore that person.

In a case where that person is being a burden to all, then it becomes a community issue, but this must be more then just your perecption alone.

For the admins, this is a hard issue, because they must deside when and how to draw the lines of the internet community. If I start posting nothing but "Z" everywhere, I'm going to be precived as a threat to the welfair of the commuinty, however, If I just start disagreeing with everyones ideas, am I a threat?

Its a tough call to make, and perecption is key. In specal cases, people have to talk offline, using the phone, or using voice chat to resolve diferances that, online, can not be resolved.

What you do with your preceptoion of yourself and others is up to you, but hopefully you will think about how you are precived and how you precive others.

I think the biggest problem is people who start posting insults towards those who disagree with them.

I've seen 1 or 2 people constantly say basically "well anyone with a 3rd grade education or who knows how to read would agree with my interpretation"

In my opinion posting a simple disagreement is 1 thing but often certain people go beyond that and add little comments that serve no function but to incite other people
