Once I figured out my strategy I settled on my Attrition pool pretty quickly.

For this, though, I still haven't even decided if I want to bring huge heroes, huge hero-busters, or huge huge hero-busters-busters.

Hmm hmm.

Huge hero? Check.
Huge hero-buster? Check.
Huge huge hero-buster buster? Check!

And that's only half my army!

Whatever you're bringing RV, my army should take care of it:

4th Mass x 6
(420 points, 24 hexes)

Re: Valley War I: "Big is Beautiful", Modesto, CA, 8/20

*Thinks it over* Actually, 4th Mass x6 would* probably be a really strong contender for this format. It doesn't use any Huge Monsters, but it wouldn't need to, and any Dragon, Hydra, or Frost Giant charging into WTF is very likely to be murdered. Way to think outside the format box with this one, Typhon. And your own box, too.

*or perhaps would have been now we're discussing it.

Little Thundertusk was one of the best sports I've ever seen. Even when the dice deserted him utterly at the Attrition tourney, he kept right on playing with equanimity and good cheer. It was really impressive.

Re: Valley War I: "Big is Beautiful", Modesto, CA, 8/20

Knights of Weston x4 280
Sir Denrick 380
Fen Hydra 500

This army is pretty simple with only 2 options for order markers. It has a HUGE hero and a HUGE hero-buster. The Knights of Weston are strong melee units that can protect your Hydra. I'm not using this, but anyone in need of a simple army may find this helpful.

For this tournament, a tie is a tie. Because of the potential point disparities between armies, I'm not going to be using points remaining to determine winners for games that go to time.

Looks like a great army, Robo.
If someone DOES bring this army, and wins the tourney, know that you'll be blamed.

Strength of Schedule then Killo, for determing final rankings if multiple people end 5-0 or 4-1?

Overall results are ranked in this order:
  1. win-loss record
  2. head-to-head results
  3. strength of schedule
  4. record against common opponents

117-87-0 (4/13/09-2/22/15)
32-16-0 (10/17/09-7/21/12)
