Character Bio - Lurkers “move slowly and are not especially dangerous, except in large numbers or with the element of surprise. Rick's group has observed [Walking Dead] too weak to move. Rick's group classifies [the Walking Dead] as either roamers or lurkers.” (Wikipedia, 2014).

-Rulings and Clarifications-

• Q: Do Lurkers count toward Start Zone figure limits?
• A: Yes. All figures in your army count toward your figure limit, even if they do not begin the game in the Start Zone or on the battlefield.
• Q: Can I continue to bring back Lurkers with Viral Infection if I no longer control any Lurkers on the battlefield?
• A: Generally, unless otherwise stated, powers stop working after all the figures from the card are destroyed. There is nothing in Viral Infection to except it from this rule, so therefore once all figures with the Viral Infection special power that you control have been destroyed, you can no longer use Viral Infection to bring any of your destroyed Lurkers back.

I find it a bit odd thematically that Waves of the Undead is on this card in particular (with Lurkers being the most passive of the units), but it mechanically fits right. Interested in seeing how they play!

Well, I couldn't put it on all of them, and this is probably the card that needs the most help in terms of draftability.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking... might be the name, too, since Lurkers aren't really "Waves of Undead" types and more "sort of hang out" types. Can't really think of any better ones, though.

Maybe we could call that power "Zombie Apocalypse" and think of a different name for the first power?

Just wondering if they should not be able to be placed next to each other, either. Otherwise you could just surround the opponent's start zone (Which may not be the greatest tactical choice, I suppose, but still possible).

At 1 Life, 1 Defense, are we really afraid of making figures fight their way out of their start zones? I kind of like it (though you're going to want to hide a couple of these guys so you don't lose Waves of the Undead (soon to be called Zombie Apocalypse)).

Not really scared, just want us to be sure it's possible. A ground pounding hero heavy army would hate that, but those aren't so good to begin with either, so probably won't be a problem.
