Eastern PA Tournament 9/22
I will be hosting a tournament in Lehighton, PA for those of us in Eastern PA without the ability to go to GenCon and other events because they're so far away.
The tournament will be held at Bethany EC Church North St. Lehighton PA 18235 on September 22nd from 10am-8pm. The tournament will consist of 2 events a "Hero" Tournament and a "Melee" Tournament. Participants in the Hero Tournament must bring a 500pt team, order markers, attack/defense dice, and a d20. Participants in the Melee Tournament must bring a 500pt team consisting of melee figures (Range:1, abilities with range are allowed in this tournament as long as the main range stat on the figure is 1), order markers, attack/defense dice, and a d20. No Marvelscape figures allowed. Both Tournaments will be double elimitation, random bracketing. Prizes: -Hero Tournament: --1st Place: Swarm of the Marro MS, and 2 wave 7 expansion sets. --2nd Place: 2 wave 7 expansion sets. --3rd Place: 1 wave 7 expansion set. -Melee Tournament: --1st Place: Swarm of the Marro MS. -Most Creative/Unique Team: 1 wave 7 expansion set. Entrance Fee: $10, this includes access to both tournaments and lunch (pizza, chips, and soda). .... This means if you take both events and have a unique team you're getting 2 SOTM MS, and 3 wave 7 expansion sets plus lunch for $10. If you wish to participate please leave a post so I know the numbers coming. (there are 10+ people not from this site that are already signed up).

Sounds pretty sweet. We'll have to have a West coast vs East coast (of PA) tournament sometime. I'll see how far away the tournament is and if it isn't too horrible of a drive I'll see if I can make it. Good luck!

I wish I could attend but I can't drive myself yet and I doubt that my parents would want to take me. I also have a soccer game on the same day

Unfortunately that would be about a 5 and a half hour trip. If it was closer to 3-4 I would definately come but Cincinnati taught me that is just too far to drive in one day, especially for a 10 AM start time. Sounds really great though.

man, I guess there is no one in eastern pa that likes to play heroscape... or at least on this website... I've got 15 registered attendees, and 5 possibles, but I was hoping to find more people to join the fun here. guess not. still accepting contestants until the 19th. The King of Strategy.

Wow, I know there are a ton of guys from philidelphia and from the southern border of New York. I am surprised no one is signing up. I certainly would if it wasnt a 5.5 hour drive for me.

I would love to play in this, but unfortunately this is the same day as the Breaking Benjamin/3 Days Grace/Puddle of Mud concert in Hershey and I already have my tickets. I just started playing HS about a month ago, but I love it so far.
Lehighton is only about 30-40 minutes from where I live (Ashland/Frackville area). Let me know if you guys are going to have any other tournaments or would just like to get together to play. Barry barrjmail@yahoo.com
