True. That seems like it's to tie into the movie though. There is a regular Marvel Heroes set as well, but now that I look at the page it seems like this thing we're specualting about couldn't be tied to that. Hmmm....what could it be?

Fact is, with MarvelScape, we're dealling with a whole new beast.

I could totally see this packaged differently than the "Norm".

Two figures per pack, 5-7 bucks, I could see that happening.
We'll all find out soon, I think.

I can't believe that this is going to be my first post, but http://www.hasbro.com/heroscape/defa...oduct_id=18718 gives you Mr. Potato Head parts. So, it's way up in the air as to what the placeholders are for. For the record, 18712 is listed as Planet Hulk, and everything between 18713 and 18717 are individual Marvel characters.
Yeah, there were rumors about that one at GenCon but people in the know were told to shut up.

<smile>

By respect for your fellow posters, please refrain from gratuitous use of the terms "******", "****", "****", "*****", "***", "****", "***", "******", "******" and "GenCon exclusive".

marvel

these are not for heroscape. at comiccon they previewed these 2 pack figures. they are similiar to the 2 package figure line of star wars. the wolverine sabertooth package and the magneto/cyclops package are saved to my home computer to remind me to give these to my nephews when thye come out this year. have not seen the hulk one but most of the others ive seen. my first post as ive been a lurker until now. doing a search im sure for comicon galleries will locate these pictures.

Looks like I was right with my first guess of Galactic Heroes type figures.

Personally i welcome marvelscape. I'm a huge comic fan. So it will be cool just to have the pieces. As to slowing down the flow of new stuff, I really welcome that. As much as I love heroscape I can't stand it when i think i have all the pieces and can rest my wallet for a bit, they release something else. But as a comic fan i also hate the fact that DC and Marvel has gone crazy with merchandising. It also brings in these fair-weather fans who have never heard of greats as Luke Cage, Iron fist and Ghost rider. But i digress and looking over my post, it sounds all confusing and hypocritical. But whatever.

marvelscape

tonight i was at my local wal-mart and went to look for wavve 6 after
work. it was around 2a.m. and i noticed that they were resetting the
toy department. i was looking at the plans to see where the heroscape
stuff was going to end up and noticed that next to the heroscape stuff
was a spot ready for the marvel heroscape set. it was priced $24.74.
the spot made up for it was about the size of the castle set.

Well I know when I see Marvelscape I'm going to buy it. I would really like to see how they made it and I really want to play it.
