Re: The Book of Freddy Krueger
So if I'm remembering my HS rules correctly, figures that aren't on the battlefield don't count as figures you control, right? So that's why Freddy can't be an Avenger and things like that?
Also, really digging the art job on this card! The red and green fade looks really good. |

Re: The Book of Freddy Krueger
Correct. Freddy does not count as a figure you control, but he does count as a figure in your army. So Pinhead would still be able to take a turn with Freddy using Denizens of Hell since it mentions figures in your army.

Re: The Book of Freddy Krueger
Freddy doesn't target with that power. He just chooses a figure.

Re: The Book of Freddy Krueger
Just for my clarification, for some reason, I was under the impression that if you 1v1 Freddy vs Jason, and Freddy rolls a blank each time, wounding Jason and never entering the battlefield, Jason wins the match at the end of round 1 on points. Is that totally baseless?
All I'm finding is that victory conditions are determined by the scenario, which means those conditions could be anything. Victory:Be the last player with at least one figure on the battlefield to win. Jason wins in this example. Victory: Destroy all of your opponent's figures to win. Match continues. I think my confusion was based in the earliest days of Classic Scape, where I was under the impression that if all your units are destroyed, but you still have Airborne Elite who have not Dropped, you still lost, or possibly, if they fail their Drop roll at the start of the next round, you automatically lose. |

Re: The Book of Freddy Krueger
I believe victory conditions are checked for at the end of every player turn, not the end of every round, and that "being the only player to control any figures (i.e. have any figures on the battlefield)" is a standard, default victory condition that we base the points system of C3G on.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Freddy Krueger
You're right, it is at the end of every turn.
So that actually means, if Freddy rolls a blank on R1T1, Jason wins. Interesting! Thank you! I'm sticking to the standard. |
