Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
Talk about a compact car!
Maybe a medium hotdog cart ... that'd be a fun swap. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
Sorry I haven't chimed in on this guy sooner, but he's looking great. I like the updated powers, nice and straight forward but thematic and fun looking.
One thing I was wondering and it may be written somewhere that I haven't seen, but if he switches places with a Battlement that is attacked to a hex, I'm assuming you have to place the Battlement laying flat in the space he had occupied. Also, I can't remember, does the Battlement occupy the hex it's attached to or the one it's hanging over? I can't recall at the moment. Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
First army test completed. I'll have to get the notes done tomorrow. Man what a fun game that was! Kingpin and his posse were taking out Cops and Spidey was all over the place. I can't wait until I can draft the entire Sinister 12 line up into one army!

Good stuff. It's really great having you back at full speed.

Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
Alright initial test all wrapped up. I bumped his roll for Vanishing Act to 12 from 10 after doing the last test. I think that because the power encompasses clear sight abilities, adjacent and non-adjacent attacks, and the penalty for him hitting the roll is that he can switch places with your figure all add up to a really powerful ability with enough disincentive to avoid him unless he's trapped and is the only figure left. I think 125 is a good place to put him at for testing.
I propose we move Mysterio to public play testing at 125 points. |

Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
yea I think he'll make a fun pair with Electro, so long as you remember to move Electro next to him instead of moving him next to Electro!
Should be a fun push and pull with Spidey. He swaps places with Spidey making Spidey take wounds from Electro, then Spidey pulls Mysterio back into Electro, and so forth. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
Yea, with a small suggestion
VANISHING ACT If Mysterio is targeted for an opponent's attack or a special power that requires clear sight, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 12 or higher, Mysterio may immediately use his Smoke and Mirrors special power and no longer has any visible hit zones for the duration of the targeting figure’s turn. Re: The Book of Mysterio - Design
This edit still allows him to use his power on adjacent attacks? That's what is intended and play tested.
