Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
I'm not understanding how it's not thematic for his design to work well against Spider-man's design? You mean the lack of something saying in bold text "this guy hates Spider-man" on his card?
I guess I just figured our demographic is a slightly older crowd familiar with these characters who doesn't need that type of thing spelled out that bluntly ... Or am I misreading what you're asking for? C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
I do like a Spidey-centric power, but, I think his Pumpkin Bombs do a good enough job of keeping people spread out and would certainly do a good job of isolating Spidey, so I'm rather content with the card as-is. Implicit details and all that.
One thing, though - is "Industrialist" really the best choice for a Class? I mean, he is an industrialist, but... so is Lex Luthor, and C3G has him listed as a Mastermind. I think Normon Osborn fits Mastermind perfectly (considering his practically took over the US in Dark Reign and has his hands in all sorts of businesses and crime rings), while for the Goblin, I could see Psychopath (like the Joker) or, I dunno, maybe just Criminal? You could go with either route, really. I think a Normon Osborne just as "himself" would be cool at some point down the line, you know, with some sort of Criminal movement power or something (since he was director of HAMMER and led the Thunderbolts and the Dark Avengers and all that), so my vote would be for Psychopath, but Mastermind wouldn't be a bad fit, either, since the Green Goblin is rather good at big complex plans. Actually, though, going with Wikipedia's definition of Psychopath... Quote:

Of course, that would give him the exact same Left Box as the Joker, and I'm not quite sure if we'd want that. So, y'know... just ideas. I'd say either Mastermind or Psychopath would be the best choice, though. JOHNNY139'S CLASSIC CUSTOM THREAD! | Visit now!

Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
I agree that both Psychopath and Mastermind are great fits.

Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
I prefer Psychopath, as I don't see him working in the criminal faction all that well, most of them despise him greatly.

Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
I agree with a Psychopath personality. He would make a great Mastermind, if he others would listen to him. It's like Griff said, they really don't like him and none of them trust him enough to follow orders.

Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
I like Psychopath and the stats/powers and such on the front page.

Re: Green Goblin - Brainstorming Phase
You should probably bump up that proposal to pass him to the design phase. (at which point he'll be ready for an initial playtest right away, in my opinion).
