Re: New Site: Unresolved Issues

I don't know if this is a bug or if I'm just stupid, but I can't figure out how to tell the site not to automatically subscribe me to threads I post in. I still want to be notified when threads I am actually interested in are posted in. I can tell it not to subscribe me to threads, but then I don't get email notification.

I can say "do not subscribe" individually, but I'd rather not.

There is a setting to change your default Subscription type. Its in your User CP, under Edit Options called "Default Thread Subscription Mode." Change it to "Do not subscribe"

I was checking out the subscription stuff in the User CP and you can organize the bejeezus out of those things. You can make folders to put them. Now that's pretty cool.

I love the folders in the PM section too...this way I can segregate the PMs that have mailing addresses for trades so i do not accidentally delete them

But if I do that, won't I make it so it won't email me about my already-subscribed-to threads?

In the UserCP under Subscribed Threads there are ways to change the notification settings of each individual thread you are subscribed to. So, changing whether you subscribe automatically, shouldn't the settings of the things that you have already set to get an email notification about. It only changes who you automatically subscribe or not. You can still change the settings of each thread you are subscribed to individually.

Check out the Subscribed Threads section of the UserCP. Try it out and see what happens.

Re: New Site: Unresolved Issues

I don't think rep is working right?

I have three reps

1 is red for negative feedback

2 are grey

Why is this?

I also gave a member a positive reputation that didn't have any, but his bar is still grey

I don't get it, do you have to be a site supporter to give rep too?
