Games Workship LotR terrain

Games Workshop has a terrain pack for their Lord of the Rings miniatures game, the Ruins of Middle Earth, priced at $15 (list; it turned up for $13.50 elsewhere), with several ruined wall sections and other terrain greeblies:

They look as if they'd fit reasonably well on a HeroScape map, and are less expensive than most of the cast resin or plaster structures you can find.

I might need to get some of those. The ruins can be cut down to fit on 7, 3 or 2 hex tiles and then glued on.

DarkSpade Woo who?
I have them. The ruins fit very well on the board.

Nope. I just set them right on the board.

Birthday soon, eh Monkeyfish? Have you got a PayPal account to accept birthday-donations?

On the subject of the LOTR ruins, I am afraid to say that I hate them. I find them too thin for my liking - I prefer my walls to have a bit of substance to them.

They are very cool. The statue and ruins work especially well with HS. Just make a note that they do come unpainted.

Really easy to paint though. Just base coat black, then drybrush shades of grey.
