Euryon is surprisingly tart
Movie: Solomon Kane

Wasn't sure if others knew about this. The most bad-ass (anti)hero ever is making his way to the big screen. The casting is looking increasingly impressive, James Purefoy as Solomon (he was Marc Antony in HBO's Rome, I do believe), aswell as stalwarts like Max Von Sydow and Pete Poselthwaite.

Check here for the IGN information, and here for IMDB.

On my command, fix bayonets.

I wouldn't call Solomon Kane an anti-hero, but he does know how to put the whup down - looking forward to this one, thanks for the update!

Perhaps he isn't strictly an anti-hero, but being a character developed whilst fictional heroes were more likely to be super and pretty one dimensional, having a continual internal struggle between puritan beliefs and the need to do what he is good at, kind of makes him at least an abnormal hero. More like a vigilante gone crazy.
