Agreed. Opponent's doesn't make sense in this context, as the move is compulsory and fixed, rather than done by one player or the other.

Cool. I like the idea of using that for scatter effect as well. Just not entirely sure what to use it on.

I know it's a minor thing, but I really do like the idea of the two extreme outliers here being the no move result. Critical hit and Fumble results in it spinning it place, all other results make it move in one direction or the other.

Tweaking some in hopes of making this guy a bit more fun to take a turn with. Now that we have Event Cards, it just seems like The Watcher's What If falls completely into that category and doesn't make sense for a figure on a map that you'd want to move and do things with.

ESSENTIAL UTILITIES

If you're giving him the Shurikens anyway, I'd let him have 5 attack and 1 range. Or leave the stats as-is and give him more options for the utility belt.

I'd definitely bump defense to 5-6 too, this is Batman we're talking about. 4/4 defensive stats are way too low for him without any defensive powers besides Mission Prep.

Looks fun! Definitely different from our past Batmen, but a solid leader for the Outsiders. Really like how he has to choose different people to bond.

Good call on the stats with the Shurikens. I don't want him stepping on Batman (II)'s utility knife toes, so I prefer to stick with a pretty defined set for the essential utilities. I think going Range 1, Attack 5, Defense 5 makes sense, though. I want to make sure to hit 220 for that 500 point block with Geo-Force, though, so I'd want to make any necessary tweaks to hit that cost as we went.

I might have to shift the bonding to instead of a turn with Batman rather than before a turn with him. I do think the choose them once per round thing helps it, at least, especially if you start losing Interlopers.

Yeah, it's a power that really loses effectiveness fast once Interlopers start to fall.
