C.bows and Catapults making good customs?

i was looking in the store todaay and I looked at C'boes and catapults.
I thought,
maybe i could hot glue em to herescape hexes..
Im lookingfor ppls opinion on this.

They appear to be made out of a shiny plastic.. Maybe you could find somethign more realistic looking. A paint job might help, but I would try to find something a little more solid if it were me.

Flags and Knights are painted with Portugal's Flag's Colors... Green, Red & Yellow
The heroes are painted with a dulled silver and a heavy black wash

I love that game I got the gatlin gun and double crossbow expansion for xmas


Problem is the gatlin gun was missing the piece in side to make it work.

Walmart has the Battlechest master set for $10 and expansions for $6. The Battlechest comes with 8 each knight & orc squad and one knight & orc champion. I bought just for figures to use as stand-ins w/ heroscape & printed out Knights of Weston, Heavy & normal Blade gruts, and Sir Denrick and Orc champion - normally would cost more than $50 for expansions just to get these figures.

Plus the castle towers fit perfectly into HS. I am going to add second layer to them to use as sniping post for chars. Also looking for & thinking of making attack cards for the catapult, crossbow, & cannon, although they are big on the board. I used the flags included for a "Capture the flags" scenario too.

Cheap add-ons to HS or if you have kids, make a great game by themselves. Get them while they are available!
