This is a great idea! I never knew about the boot camp before, but it sounds great. This is exactly the type of project I can get involved with. I always feel a little bad I don't get more involved, but with 3 kids age 5 and under, I'm lucky to find time to even read the latest posts. I'd be happy to participate at any level I can. Count me in!

I love the wolf rider figure! I'll pick it up too if it is selected. A vote on figure is probably appropriate.

Reading over some of the other boot camp attempts, it appears they had some challenges with lack of structure, play testing, and leadership. I may be off on this as I only skimmed over a lot of it and I don't fault the project for it. I think it's an interesting idea for a collective design, but some of these challenges are going to be natural in an open community project.

Can a community paint a coherent picture? Or will it inevitably end up as a spattering of paint?

Either way, it sounds like a fun project and it certainly has my interest, but I do think it is more of an uphill battle than one person driving a design.

Asterios was a community project from the French forums, and he was coherent enough for the SoV.

It’s doable. Just participate where you can! And, it’s not like we are on a major time crunch.
