Well met!
@SkyWhale, Hire Crew is too imitative of Crimson Widow (based on the same real life pirate, by the way). Given this sculpt, Pathfinder Battles Iconic Heroes #4, Lirianne, Half-Elf Gunslinger I felt compelled to make her a Pirate, but would be happy to find another appropriate Class. |

Pathfinder Battles Iconic Heroes #4, Lirianne, Half-Elf Gunslinger CAPTAIN XUE General: Utgar Race: Human Uniqueness: Unique Hero Class: Warrior Personality: Bold Size: Medium 5 Life: 5 Move: 5 Range: 5 Attack: 3 Defense: 3 Points: 120 HAND CANNON When Captain Xue attacks an opponent's figure, you may choose an opponent's figure adjacent to that figure. If the defending figure receives any wounds from Captain Xue, the chosen figure receives 1 wound. When Captain Xue attacks, she may attack 1 additional time. SECRET ARMY After revealing a numbered Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Captain Xue, if she did not inflict a wound on an opponent's figure, you may take a turn with any Monk, Ninja, Shadow Assassin, or Assassin, hero or squad, you control. Any figure that is taking a turn with Secret Army must be within clear sight of Captain Xue before moving. P.S.: This needs to be tested, of course. But this looks like fun. Nerfed Range (5) and no defensive power feels dangerous. I'll have to draft some units with defensive support powers and or screen her carefully. Otherwise, Secret Army gives me special access to a number of my favorite units. Of course, this is more a Glass Army than a Secret one. 120 points seems close to right. |

So let her also bond with the C3V Buccaneers of Tortuga too, but not other pirates. (They're not pirates, they're privateers. Secret ones, operating from their secret island base).

If the defending figure receives any wounds from Kâramanè, the chosen figure receives 1 wound. When Kâramanè attacks, she may attack 1 additional time. INHERITED LOYALTY All Monk, Ninja, Shadow Assassin, or Assassin, hero or squad figures you control follow Utgar instead of the General on their cards. After revealing a numbered Order Marker on this card and taking a turn with Kâramanè, if she did not inflict a wound on an opponent's figure, you may take a turn with any Monk, Ninja, Shadow Assassin, or Assassin, hero or squad, you control. If the defending figure receives any wounds from Captain Xue, the chosen Common figure receives 1 wound. When Captain Xue attacks, she may attack 1 additional time. MUTINY After a Unique Captain you control recieves a wound or is destroyed, any or all Pirate Squads you control that chose that Captain for The Captain's Way special power may choose Captain Xue to be their chosen Captain for the rest of the game. If you do, remove all wound markers from Captain Xue. The thing to do now is to leave her as above and draft her crew intelligently, rather than adding any more powers. I like Hand Cannon as is, but wondering if it is necessary or desirable to make this closer to Cleave: HAND CANNON When Captain Xue attacks an opponent's figure, you may choose an opponent's [Squad] figure adjacent to that figure. If the defending figure receives any wounds from Captain Xue, the chosen figure receives 1 wound. When Captain Xue attacks, she may attack 1 additional time. P.S.: Made it Common. Well met! I hear you, chas. However, it's too cheap a shot killing a Deathwalker with a wound inflicted on an Orc. Making the adjacent figure Common is also unique, and just a bit better than it being a Squad figure (as in Cleave). HAND CANNON When Captain Xue attacks an opponent's figure, you may choose an opponent's Common figure adjacent to that figure. If the defending figure receives any wounds from Captain Xue, the chosen Common figure receives 1 wound. When Captain Xue attacks, she may attack 1 additional time. Actually, Hand Cannon is also close to this (note the Range): EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS SPECIAL ATTACK Range 5. Attack 3. Choose a figure to attack. You may also choose one other figure adjacent to the targeted figure to be affected by Explosive Rounds Special Attack. Roll attack dice once for both figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. When Deathcommander Mark 3 attacks with his Explosive Rounds Special Attack, he may attack one additional time.
