NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Ursa Major

Pass Ursa is usable but overpriced in my opinion. Abomination is comparable to him as he shares the creature synergy, has super throw, and has a movement ability. Abomination only costs 20 more points and has +1 attack, can move 1 space farther with super leap (and still attack albeit with 3 less dice), and still has a much lower roll for super throw.
Ursa does have the Mutant synergy but in a creature deck this really only means you can draft Armor or Jubilee for an extra attack whenever you reveal an OM on Ursa, and you won't get this attack if you activate Ursa with Frankenstein's Ability. In Mutant focused builds you can add in Frankenstein but why would you? Mutants already have a lot of strong bonding options so the Undead General isn't going to add much. Magneto can boost his Super throw by making him an outcast but it still wont be as good as abomination and their are much stronger options there.
The only build I can think of that can effectively use both of his synergies would be a creature build with Sage, Armor, and Apocalypse added in. This way you can boost UM by 2 attack dice and Apocalypse can outfit your army with Equipment Glyphs. This is still going to add up to a vary high Point total though and just a few creatures with some support figures might be stronger.
Sorry for the lengthy write up but I wanted you to know my reasons rather than just saying the figure costs too much.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
Pass Never got Super Throw 14 to work. Probably because most of the opponents figures had super strength . Still usable but it seems like a lower roll or an exception to the Super Strength rule would make it a lot better.


- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.

- Give a brief overview. This game I pitted Ursa Major and his team against Omega Red in a battle for Soviet Supremecy! I played Ursa in a Prof X build this game to see how plays with the other mutants.
Map: Swamp Lab
Units:Ursa Major, Prof X, Angel, Toad, Wolverine, Deadpool, Sabertooth, and Atom (1650) VS Omega Red, Sage, Apocalypse, Armor, Destiny, Magneto(1640).

Apocalypse chooses Omega Red, Sage, Armor, and Magneto as his horseman.

Apocalypse selects Makulan Energy Rings, and Experimental medicine for his Equipment Glyphs.

Both teams moved their figures up pretty defensively. Deadpool managed to get a few shots in on magneto as Sage powered up Armor, but nothing exciting happened until the second round of the game. After powering up Omega Red on their first turn, Apocalypse managed to roll an 18 for his Makulan Energy rings putting 2 wounds on Deadpool and 1 wound on everyone else on Prof X's team save Wolverine, who was still in the start zone. Wolverine got a few attacks in during the third round with Angel helping him get into range, but became the first KO of the game thanks to a lucky roll from Armor and two attacks from Omega Red on the following turn. Atom died shortly after to Magnetos Magnetic Assault giving Omega Red's team an early lead.

X moves Sabertooth up in an attempt to finish off Magneto who had been taking shots from Deadpool and was down to 1 life. Sabertooth fails the first try but manages to bring Magneto down the next turn. Ursa Major then manages to get a wound in on Apocalypse causing him to loose the Makulan Energy Rings. Xwins Intiative for the next turn allowing sabertooth to take control of the One Ring(s), and wounds Apocalypse forcing him to relinquish the glyph of Experimental Medicine as well. Prof X and his team manage to hold on to the Energy rings for the remainder of the game due to their multiple turns and Angel's movement abilities. They use the Rings to KO Armor, Omega Red, and Destiny, rolling 2 20's and only missing with the ability once.

Omega Red did put up a fight though, managing to KO Sabertooth, Deadpool, and bring Ursa 2 wounds away from death before being brought down by the energy rings, which were kept on Angel most of the time since he could keep repositioning himself and other units to stay safe. Red's team lost a lot of momentum after loosing armor and once Red himself fell it was pretty much game over. Sage did manage to bring down Ursa but that wasn't enough to bring the game back in their favor.

Who won and how many wounds did they have?
Prof X 0wounds, Toad 1wound, and Angel 3wounds.

- Give a brief overview. Ran Ursa in a Creature build this game. Being able to run armor was nice especially since the opponent seemed unable to roll any shields against her this game
Map: Swamp Lab
Units: Ursa Major, Frankenstein, Wendigo, Solomon Grundy, and Armor (1400) VS Magneto II, Destiny, Blob, Pyro, Avalanche, Toad, Sage, and Archangel (1405)

Magneto selects Archangel to become his Outcast

Ursa Major rushes in this game to see how much damage he can inflict, with Armor following close behind. Magneto throws UM back behind enemy lines however and he is quickly swarmed by outcasts thanks to Avalanches Outcast Ambush Special ability. Toad then moved forward and used tounge lash to try and force UM into taking multiple LEA the roll fails(twice) and UM manages to take out Magneto and Avalanche, although he did take a few wounds thanks to Archangel's Razor Wing Slash. The Third time's the charm however as Toad finally succeeds and UM takes enough LEA to finish him off.

Armor is the next to fall dying to Pyro's engulf ability as he moves up to high ground. Grundy and Frank approach the outcast's but are met by an Unmovable Force! Blob effectively locks up the heroes while they are forced to keep attacking him while Archangel whittles away at their life. Archangel eventually takes down Grundy but Grundy manages to come back the very next turn. Grundy (free of Blob's effects) engages Pyro and inflicts 3 W on him. With two weakened outcasts Frank moves in Wendigo who starts his killing spree by taking out pyro and then gets a strong roll against Blob allowing him to finally free up Frankenstein. This does not come without cost however as Wendigo triggered Archangels powers enough for him to finish off Grundy.

To make matters worse, Frankenstein's freedom proves to be short lived, as Toad manages to force a LEA against Achangel and then finish off Frank with his normal attack. Toad almost mounts a comback bringing Wendigo down to 2 life but Wendigo managed to get one last killing spree, taking out Toad and Archangel. With only Sage and Destiny remaining, Wendigo had his victory secured. OH and Solomon Grundy came back on the second to last turn

Who won and how many wounds did they have? Wendigo 1wound (he healed himself by killing everyone else) and Solomon Grundy 2wounds
I'm liking 300 after both of these showings. I propose Final Editing at 300 points.
