Initial problem sorted out I hope.... Greetings all and well met. This is my first post though I'll admit I've been lurking for a while. I was determined to not post until I had something to contribute, which required my digital camera setup to work. Nonetheless it now is and here goes. Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone on this forum for their wonderful contributions and dedication to HeroScape, you have all inspired me. I used to paint miniatures some 10 years ago and saw Heroscape. I thought about it and figured it was the perfect excuse to get back to what I feel is a very zen hobby to have. I hadn't modded any terrain before but find myself doing that more than anything else. So here's the first pic. I decided I'd try some new things and wanted a degree of variety to my terrain. The first hexes are my shot at a wartorn plain kind of look. It's one of the styles I use to replace the common green/grass hexes. Close up of the same terrain: This is some grass that I came up with. I decided that the war torn wasn't always the nicest look, so this is a little more fantastic... And again a closeup: So of course I had to do the other hexes. Here's some rocks: And some sand/desert tiles: That'll do for now I guess. I have a few more projects and pics but I can't put them all up at once. I appreciate ANY feedback. Last edited by Renquist; August 22nd, 2008 at 02:44 PM. |
