If they dont keep releasing sequals, then it sounds cool. It is coming for the wii, but without dlc, it isnt worth it. Can you use GH guitars on it, and rock band guitars on guitar hero?

GH for Rockband, not Rockband for GH

The "Still Alive" song is confirmed as the one from The Orange Box, and is also confirmed to be in a fully playable state. I hope that means we are getting it next week with the as-yet-unrevealed last week of February content.
In the Harmonix blog, one of the guys talks about playing it on stage at GDC with the guy that wrote it doing the vocals. He ever mentions that some kid tried to run up and steal it with a memory card, adding a great quote along the lines of "honestly, who carries around a memory card just in case?" |

Also, I find the DLC for Rock Band much more fulfilling than GHIII. I've spent too much money to have the entire set list. It's worth it. Last edited by Zorgophlats : Prenember 86th, 2079 at 42:96 ZM. Reason: enasni eht stalhpogroz |

* “China Cat Sunflower” (Master)
* “Casey Jones” (Master) * “Sugar Magnolia” (Master) * “Truckin" (Master) * “Franklin’s Tower” (Master) * “I Need A Miracle” (Master) That's the confirmed Grateful Dead DLC for this coming week, first Tuesday in March. A bit of a change from the previously leaked list, but that was to be expected when the NIN pack slid up into February. I'm not a huge Deadhead, but I like these songs and will definately get all 6 as they have nice instrumentation. They are 160 points (2 bucks) each or 800 points (10 bucks) for all 6. |

I hope they don't edit out the "cocaine" part.

Well after last week's fun Dead mega-pack, we get a rather questionable group of three singles from recent bands. Given the popularity of this game amongst my friends, I've started buying essentially every song (or letting the buddies chip in for something they really want), but even at a buck each I'm not sure about this group and think I'm going to pass. Maybe one of the girls will want the Paramore song.
I'm not a fan of any of these groups, but I would have downloaded "Empty Walls" by Serj, or "Business of Misery" by Paramore, as those are semi-decent, catchy songs that seem like they'd have good in-game note charts. Here are the songs for DLC this week (3/11) All songs are $.99 (80 Microsoft Points). "Shockwave" by Black Tide (Master) "Crushcrushcrush" by Paramore (Master) "Beethoven's C-u-n-t" by Serj Tankian (Master) EDIT: Some sort of technical issue has delayed "Shockwave." EDIT AGAIN: Tech issue is fixed now, Shockwave is up. |

I just played this game for the first time yesterday. I still don't see why people go so nuts over who is better at the game, but it's a lot of fun. I just did bass and singing since I'm so new to it, and found that I can score in the 90s on easy....big shock, right? But, the game is a good one for a group of people to get together and enjoy being silly pretending they're real rockers.
I'd buy it if I had that much extra cash laying around. |

Ah, yes very true Windlane, in fact, my 3 friends and I put a video on Youtube of us playing Foreplay/Longtime just because we felt so cool and really felt like rockstars. Probably one of the greatest videos ever made.
