Taeblewalker is about to run a game next month based on HOF, where we all have to take at least two of their characters. I've made a list of about a dozen I would enjoy running. See our NYCG4 General Discussion Thread over the next few weeks for more info on this game.

Just watched Hot Tub Time Machine 2. Good old fashioned immature, stupid, time traveling comedy.

Watched Wolf of Wall Street with my wife Saturday Night and just watched the Percy Jackson Sea Monster movie with my son.

Didn't realize that Wolf of Wall Street was "comedy" enjoyed it. However afterwards we googled the guy and realized he still seems like a a not so good person.

We have now seen both of the Percy Jackson movies. They are entertaining and my son enjoyed it. If nothing else he has an interest now in mythology which is cool.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Ashens and the Quest for the Gamechild(2013)

Total indy flic made on a budget around $70k.

Simply incredible. Ashens' quest to find the knock-off version of the Gameboy.
Borrows heavily from The Goonies and also Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars, Star Trek and a few I am forgetting and a few I am sure I missed.
Warwick Davis(Willow) makes an appearance.

Ballad of a Soldier (1959)

It's about a Russian soldier that kills two tanks and is allowed leave to go fix his mother's leaky roof. It's a very good movie.
