Re: Bookshelf Skyscraper Brainstorming
If nothing else we could include a print out with the elevator and stair hexes that just looks like a pair of elevator doors and slap it on the front of that.

Re: Bookshelf Skyscraper Brainstorming
Yeah, that might be the ticket. Gonna have to figure out how to print that in color now ....
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Skyscraper - Public Playtesting
Finally a reason to bash through the Breakable Wall Section!
With Green Arrow sniping from major height, Cap and Bucky hunker down behind the wall, but Canary has no qualms about screaming at them right through it, so they take the fight to the wall and bash it open until they can fight back! C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Bookshelf Skyscraper Brainstorming
Bats or Spidey, see if it is feasible to place two skyscrapers, front to front, with another centered on top.
The thinking here is it leaves a ledge on each side. It may be a little difficult to reach figures in the middle of the first and second floor and lining up stairs and elevators may be a challenge. |

Re: Bookshelf Skyscraper Brainstorming
It's feasible, but I wouldn't do it .... I don't really like stacking them without using the pegs to stabilize them. It feels like you're flirting with a collapse otherwise.
Now two skyscrapers pushed together with a second level on one of them (or both of them if you have four shelves) seems perfectly fine. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Bookshelf Skyscraper Brainstorming
Yeah, for sure. I wouldn't mess with the vertical stacking at all. Better to play it safe in case someone leans on them.

Re: Bookshelf Skyscraper Brainstorming
If I had 3 of them, I would definitely try to set them up using 2 as a base for the 3rd on top. I'd even try to have a gap between the two bottom buildings about 2 hexes wide for a road/tunnel/walkway going through the middle of the first floor, or about 3-4 hexes wide and put a garden/greenhouse in the middle with a single hex walkway. Give some plant people a chance to get in on the building playground.

Drill holes and add pegs for stability.
