I like this idea for Apoc a lot.
Hidicul took a shot at that in a draft he sent me and the wording just looked so messy ... with the glyph power being fairly involved, I'd love a fairly streamlined bonding power on him.

Why wouldn't a simple something like this work?

Instead of moving with Apocalypse, you may take a turn with one Horseman Hero you control. Instead of attacking with Apocalypse, you may take a turn with one Horseman Hero you control. You can not use the same Horseman twice in the same turn with ower name:

That's pretty much what I sent to Bats, with the exception of the last line, and he asked me to go with a simpler bonding mechanic.

Equipment Glyphs

Teleport Machine
You may place the figure equiped with this Glyph on any empty space within 10 spaces of that figure. After using this Glyph remove it from play.

Regeneration Chamber
After taking a turn with the figure equiped with this Glyph you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 15 or higher, you may remove all Wound Markers from this figure's Army Card. After using this Glyph remove it from play.

Super Strength Enhancement
The figure equiped with this Glyph has the Super Strength special power. Figures with the Super Strength special power do not take falling or major falling damage.

Jet Pack
The figure equiped with this Glyph has the flying special power. (I wasn't sure if the Flying text should be included in the discreption. If you guys want it there then it's just a little extra typing and no change to the Glyph, xo easy fix.)

Wrist Laser
A figure with a range of 3 or less equpied with this Glyph is considered to have a range of 4.

Force Field
The figure equiped with this Glyph adds 2 to it's defense value.

Celestial Cloaking Technology
The figure equiped with this Glyph cannot be attacked by an un-adjacent normal attack.

Electrified Mace
The figure equiped with this Glyph adds 1 to it's attack value.

Energy Absorbtion Suit
When the figure equiped with this Glyph is attacked by a normal attack and at least one skull is rolled, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 19 or higher, ignore all wounds.

Engenered Plague
When the figure equpied with this Glyph recieves enough wounds to destroy it, you may roll the 20-sided die for each figure within 5 spaces. If you roll a 1-15, nothing happens. If you roll a 16-19, place one Wound Marker on that figure's Army Card. If you roll a 20, destroy that figure. Figures with the Super Strength special power cannot be effected by Engenered Plague Equipment Glyph.

Growth Formula
After revealing an Order Marker on the Army card equiped with this Glyph, and before taking a turn with that figure, you may remove this Glyph. If you remove this Glyph, the figure's hieght becomes Large 7, is considered to have the Super Strength special power when checking for falling or major falling damage, and adds 2 to the move, attack, and defense values of it's Army Card for the remainder of this round.

Mind Shield
Your Opponent may never take temporary or permanent control of the figure equiped with this Glyph.

Yeah, I just don't love it. I guess once I played it a bunch, it'd be second nature, but ... meh.

That's why I didn't add the restriction. Also, the more I think about it, the more I agree that a nice simple bonding is the way to go with him. Like you said, the Glyph power is rather involved, and I think that only 1 involved power should be on a card. If you start putting numerous involved powers on the card, then I think it will be less fun to play with because you'll be concentrating more on how to work the powers.

Alright, well here's another power idea I have for Black Adam. I know it's to be cleaned up, but I wasn't sure how to make it cleaner.

SHAZAM
After revealing an Order Marker on this card, you may choose an adjacent figure and roll the 20-sided die. If an 1-10 is rolled Black Adam may not use any other special power on this card until an 1-10 is rolled again. If an 11 or higher is rolled, you may roll an unblockable attack die.

The idea behind this power is that whenever Black Adam, or Captain Marvel, utter the word SHAZAM a bolt of lightning strikes them either granting them powers, or taking them away, and can also be dodged and be used as a weapon against an opponent.

I told you to let me see your write ups and I'd help you clean them up some. I like the mechanic behind this, and I can't wait to play with it.
