Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway (Vote On Deck)
I'll update tomorrow,
Oh, do we need something in the attack bonding thing to stop it from giving the person who just took a turn pseudo double attack? And should it say 'up to' before 'two different' so you could use it to just attack with one person if you want? On the folder thing, would it be better to just cut it out of the hit zone? If not I'd lean keeping it grey personally. Like yeah, not going to block a bullet or something, but it also can't actually block LOS outside of some super crazy specific circumstance giving the thinness and the angle compared to her. But like if it's red that's a pretty big targetable area you have to work around that doesn't make much sense for her to be hit in. Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway (Vote On Deck)
I get the point, kind of, but I also have a rule to not play with rules bending jerks that would deny an attack because someone is holding a hat. That's why when in doubt, I personally just cut the object out completely anyway.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway
Huh, my bad, I thought I mentioned that on Discord.
I have to make another slight edit since the last power's title is a slightly bigger font size for some reason, but I'll get to that in a bit. Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway
Nit-picky proofing: Should the last sentence of RR add "You may not take additional turns with ANY other figures..." It looks like we sometimes have it and sometimes don't in these types of powers. Is there any real difference? Is there a standard?
Edit: If there is a "standard" using "any" is it "any additional turns" or "any other figures?" We use both, apparently. Compare Dead Onez Q4M ("any additional turns") to Toyo Harada The Foundation ("any other figures"). |

Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway
As long as the words "You may not take additional turns" are there the rest is trivial, IMO, and doesn't impact meaning.

Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway
Reflecting on it a bit, I tend to favor "You may not take any additional turns" just for the sound of it, but I don't think the "any" is doing functional work there.

Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway
I agree. If there is no need, “any” can go completely. Also, fewer words will make fitting text onto a card easier. Something to remember for future cards.

Re: The Book of Kris Hathaway
Incoming Synergy
As a Human, Kris Hathaway has these Human Synergies. Outgoing Synergy Psiots do not take leaving engagement attacks due to the Renegade Coordinator power, and Unique Psiots may re-roll attack dice due to the Underdog Tactics power and may allow two other Unique Psiots to attack due to the Renegade Rampage power. What's up with claymation? |
