Crack a comic sometime! There are versions of the X-Men story where Scott isn't just a prop that exists to make Logan look cool.

I could see that, actually, thinking about it. There are ways to make that 'kind of obsessive drill sergeant' archetype work in a way that actually feels interesting. Not the case in the 90s X-Men cartoon, but the 2003 Turtles managed a pretty good 'Cyclops but cool' type character with their take on Leonardo.
Jean has no excuse, though. And for the record, I've never been a massive Wolverine fan either - much more fond of Beast and Gambit!

Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

I went with First X-Man for Cyclops, for two reasons:

1. I'm biased in favor of my own ideas
2. Once Bailey wraps up, this public collection will have both First X-Man and Worst X-Man in it, and I can't turn that opportunity down

C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I've just moved this thread from the main forum into the C3G Library. This is how we do it with the On Deck units and it feels like the most logical place for it now that we have a subforum for books.
Like Superheroes and Comics?

I thought of that but I figured we'd want this out front as one of the first things you see when you visit C3G.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those.

Agreed. I almost suggested doing it but didn't for that reason.
