09167's Custom Terrain obstacle's and other stuff

Hiya and Welcome, I have listed my favorite customs I have done below. You can also find me at Tumblr.

How about I start off with something simple. Since I knew how "exclusive" the volcarren wasteland was, I just kind of got tired of waiting to get it when I was in high school. So, in response I did this!

I had 2 extra master sets(because my friends didn't want them anymore FSR) Wasn't that hard to finish either. I just used 3 light coats of red Spray paint and used a black paint marker to make the dried lava part. I even painted my own order markers red , kind of didn't like the way the numbers turned out though... My Girlfriend (now wife)helped me paint some of the black on

Note: these are currently for sale HERE

Next up is my first ever Marro terrain all thanks to Leifkicker's amazing tutorial!

I placed a Marro Warrior next to it for scale.I had a lot of fun making this and i plan to make my own versions now that i have a good idea with what im working with.
I hope you enjoy this for more than just its phallic nature. I cant wait to use this in our next game of Heroscape.
Spoiler Alert!

Other than terrain I also paint minis:

Spoiler Alert!

I was thinking of making acid terrain, not sure if anyone else has already thought of it, but I've been wanting to do it for long time(and now I can) and even add a few custom acid charcters...(like elite acid vipers)

Constuctive criticism welcome!

It looks good to me. I may have to do that since I don't have any lava.

Not sure I need "odor" markers though...

I just played with the lava terrain with my brother, it was cool but a little confusing to get by without going into lava or bumping into one of his guys and engaging in battle...

Nice job. I actually think it looks better than normal lava sets.

Also, you didn't completely screw up on the Order Markers, the numbers look like they are melting in the heat, so it seems thematically plauseible.

Good Job!

I like it quite a bit. I do own one Lava set but I really think one is not enough to be useful. One set just didn't come with enough tiles to make a cool medium sized board. I doubt I will ever find a second set either since Toys R Us is no longer carring scape. I think I may have to do this with some of my extra tiles from master sets.

yeah I agree with that, I as only going with the same amount just to test it out(wasn't sure how it would turn out lol) at first the peices were a little sticky but after sitting in my house and putting the last coat on later made them a little less adhesive lol

Re: 09167's Custom Terrain obstacle's and other stuff

Customs are nice really like the lava repaint. I might have to try that idea on some of my stuff and maybe use some white spray paint to make more snow.

I have snow from random wave expansions but what I want is the ice and the glacier things(also the dzu-teh and obsidian guards T_T)
