Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
Hmm, tough to get much on her costing there, as they were two blowouts, neither of which really seemed to be blowouts based on her performance. His analysis suggests that she felt good as is, though, at least!
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM
NAME OF THE PLAYTEST UNIT: Cheetah Army Test Map: Moon Base Alpha Units: Cheetah (120), Crime Alley Crooks x3 (195), Gentlman Ghost (165), Oracle (110) (590) VS Luke Cage (190), Iron Fist (260), Spider-Girl (140) (590) Unit Summary: Damage: none. Stealth Leap: 0 times used. Pounce 1: 0 dice added. Defensive Agility: 2 attacks blocked.
Spoiler Alert!
Army Test Map: Island Plane Crash Units: Cheetah (120), Robot (210), Star-Lord (250), Meteorite (210), Red Skull (220) (1010) VS Professor X (220), Angel (90), Jean Grey (180), Dazzler (100), Deadpool (285), Harpoon (130) (1005) Unit Summary: Damage: 1 wound to Deadpool, 2 to Jean. Stealth Leap: 4 times used. Pounce 1: 4 dice added. Defensive Agility: 0 attacks blocked.
Spoiler Alert!
___________________________________________________________ THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Power level wise, she seems fine. She didn’t do a lot here for me, but she’s a filler-level unit, so that’s to be expected, and Jean preventing her movement twice in the second game didn’t help. 120 feels a little high to me, but it doesn’t seem too far off if the other results back it up. GENERAL THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT: She’ll have plenty of competition for draft slots in the 100-120 range, but she’s a fun unit and you can get her attack up fairly high in the right situation. I wouldn’t mind seeing Pounce bumped to +2 or Defensive Agility allowing her to Leap after defense, but she’s solid as-is. Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
5 of 6 in army tests so far. I know that's not all her, but it's enough to make me not want to lower her cost any (particularly with her having performed well in my tests). Your tests make me feel better if I don't end up raising her cost, though.
I'm thinking it's worth holding out for at least one more test here. Her teams have had some pretty big wins, so I want to make sure that's not a result of her having any issues. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
These both sound like pretty good ideas to me. If both were added as you could leap out of engagement on defense and set yourself up for a pounce of 6 on your next attack. Or maybe make her normal att. 3, with pounce bringing it up to 5 (6 w/HG, CA, Starlord, etc.) in order to keep her cost down.

Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
I'm not really looking to make her tougher. Or more complex, for that matter. One of the goals for this design is to embrace elegance. Another is to move efficiently, which precludes unnecessary changes at this stage.

Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
Yeah, I figured you wanted to keep her simple. Thought I'd throw the suggestions out just in case. I think I mostly had a couple unlucky games with her. Better defense in the first game, or a big attack roll in the second could have been pretty big game changers.

Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
For sure. One thing about her is that with her best synergy options (Crime Alley Crooks or Suicide Squad) you can usually screen her off pretty well from ranged attacks and then pounce her in as an assassin against figures without special attacks, at which point Defensive Agility is pretty annoying.
Also, she really does frustrate Wonder Woman one-on-one, which is fun. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
Thanks, Toby! I think the theme you're thinking of might be more appropriate for the Barbara Minerva Were-Cheetah version of the character, not this golden age version.

That said, wins came more consistently and by bigger margins here, even at 120. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

My guts say go forward at 130 .... but I'm not settled on that. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I trust you on this. 130 definitely seems about right to me.

Re: Cheetah (Priscilla Rich) - Public Playtesting
Doesn't seem like she'd be influencing the results much here, and that win/loss ratio at 120 isn't that extreme (if one of those wins swung the other way you'd be looking at 3/3). I'd say stick with 120, though 10 points more isn't going to be that big a deal.
