I think we may have over looked the mirror test here. It appears that if two Rocket Racoon II's were playing against each other, or just vs. a future figure (like Firefly?) who also used the Remotely-Detonated Bomb glyphs, that Rocket could choose to blow up the other figures bombs. I believe 'on the battlefield' precludes you from blowing up any bombs still being held on the figures card though so you'd have to wait until they placed them onto the board.

It feels okay to me in a mirror match. It does change the dynamic and makes them riskier to set up as traps before figures actually get into position, but I it doesn't feel like it breaks any mechanics or theme. (Like I mentioned in an On Deck thread recently, I actually kinda like some figures messing with each other's tech in mirror matches... see Endgame)

My gut instinct is to leave it as-is. It could be worth revisiting if we were ever looking to reuse the glyph, but it might also be interesting to take the "several figures can blow these up" constraint and use that as a dynamic to build on.

Okay, just wanted to mention it when it popped in my head. I do kind of have some loose plans for Firefly to also be a bomb guy once we get those GI Joe figures. You point about having them on the same team is a good one though.

@Yodaking What’s the intention on Rocket being able to detonate bombs on his Ragtag Ringleader attack?

Rocket can detonate one of his placed bombs instead of making a normal attack, doesn't matter where that normal attack comes from, so the normal attack generated from Ragtag Ringleader is free game. He was tested this way from the very beginning.

From the New Initial Test link:

Game 1
Bombs Away Usage: Left bomb next to Scandal Savage after she att. him and he moved away. Blew it up on next OM reveal by Bug, 1W kills Scandal Savage.

Game 2
Rag-Tag Ringleader Usage: 1 out of 4 OM reveals, 2 OM reveals were on Rocket, resulting in 1 use of the power.

Bombs Away Usage: Left a bomb behind after Wonder Girl attacked him. Left another bomb after Wonder Girl lassoed him for a 2nd time and attacked, left the 3rd bomb after Changeling attacked him. Rocket then reveals the next OM and immediately blows up all 3 bombs, 1W to Wonder Girl, 1W to Nightwing, & 1W to Changeling.

That does not work how written since instead of attacking means giving up the attack on your turn and Ringleader gives an out of turn attack.

I propose we add the following FAQ to this design.

Rocket Raccoon can use his extra attack from Ragtag Ringleader to detonate bombs using Bombs Away.

An out of turn attack just means take a turn during which you can only attack and nothing else. So I'm for the FAQ.
