Baron Deriger's Army
Seidh’s Second Helkyrie General: Baron Deriger
“The steam from the dank rose to the canopy as the morning sun broke through the undergrowth. Breaking the silence of the dawn, a Marro Drudge patrols the perimeter of the Hive. Instructed by the agitation of the Hive due to lack of connections with its units, the Drudge was to report any suspicious activity in the jungle, and eliminate it at all costs. Whatever was out there was placing fear in the minds of the dominant Hives, and it was unknown if it was hostile or just playing tricks. Suddenly, the foliage stirred. The Drudge immediately began firing, unsure if its safety was in jeopardy to this unknown threat. The Drudge removed the torn vegetation, to find no trace of any movement. He turned around to face another Marro. Same species, although the other Marro was a bit discolored, and there was a strange crest formed on its chest. In the native language the Drudge tried to communicate with the other Marro. After a long silence the other Marro spoke up. ‘I serve the Loa now.’ That was the only thing the Drudge heard before he was assassinated.” A powerful high priest executed by the leadership of the Kyrie of the Green Leaf tribe for using dark Thurisaz craft, Baron Deriger rises again with the will of Seidh to take back the land he once served faithfully. Using powerful mind control granted by Thurisaz, he controls vast hordes of Zombi to eliminate the Marro stain and any other faction that believes to be above him. As he says to those he attacks, “I serve the earth with both hands.” Aquila allows Baron Deriger to rid the jungle of Marro with his Zombi, standing out of his way. The rest of the Alliance disapproves of this, because an ancient enemy is on their hands, and consorting with them will only hasten their demise. Re: Baron Deriger's Army
Pethro Tanbou
Species: Loa Type: Common Hero Class: Lagè Tanbou Personality: Inspiring Size: Medium Height: 4 Attack: 1 Defense: 4 Range: 1 Move: 6 Pethro Aggression Before you take a turn with a Pethro Tanbou, roll the 20 sided die. If you roll a 16 or higher, all friendly units within 4 clear sight spaces of the Pethro Tanbou adds 2 to their attack die for the duration of the round. You cannot move this turn if you successfully rolled for Pethro Aggression. Bio: As supernatural as most would see these beings, among many first religions, creatures such as the Loa were served through rites and worship. These creatures do exist, and for what purpose many do not know. Baron Deriger knew of the ultimate power of such mortal intermediaries, and sought a race that would work to his benefit. By providing a constant supply of worshippers by Zombi art, the Baron has secured the service of such a mystic race. Among the Loa, the Tanbou is a lesser breed, conceived to serve its masters through relentless drumming rituals. The beat of its music is so invigorating it encourages all allies to attack with such ferocity and imbues fear on the opposing party Come check out The Essalim Collate, a content platform centered around worldbuilding and narrative design in gaming!
