Yeah, she notably ripped Girder in half after having to deal with his unwelcome advances for a while. He's actually the only one with a d20 power, so it wouldn't do anything to Colossus unless he has a d20 glyph or something.

C3G STANDARD PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

Kate equips the grapple and flashbang. Golden Glider chooses Cold as her duo partner.

Round 1: Batwoman takes out Top and puts 2 wounds on Magenta. Top and Magenta take out Damian then Cold plus Golden Glider bring 3 wounds onto Batwoman.

Round 2: Huntress and Jason kill Cold. Glider kills Batwoman and Boomerang wounds Huntress. Huntress attacks Magenta, but she gets the magnetic defense roll and tosses her into water. Jason meets the same fate.

Round 3: Huntress kills Captain Boomerang (lost OM2). Rainbow Raider deals Huntress a wound. Magenta throws Jason again. Azrael kills Magenta.

Round 4: Azrael kills Rainbow Raider. Glider kills Jason. Azrael kills Glider.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Azrael (0 wounds), Huntress (3 wounds) win.

Magenta did pretty well here, giving a total of 3 autowounds and turn cancelling. She’s not an offensive threat but just dropping her in the action forces the opponent to deal with her or risk losing turns & autowounds.

Round 1: Juggernaut rushes the Rogues. Juggernaut deals Magenta a wound then runs past them and kills Captain Boomerang. Trickster I tosses some itching powder on Juggernaut and Cold finally wounds him.

Round 2: Juggernaut puts 2 wounds on Trickster II, but Mirror Master throws him into water and Juggernaut’s defense dice abandon him, killing him to a barrage of Rogue attacks.

Round 3: Magneto throws Cold into water away from his teammates. Magenta prevents the second throw with her EMG pulse disruption. Magneto throws Magenta. The Rogues, mostly separated from Cold, fail their attacks.

Round 4: Magneto kills Cold and Magenta, and puts 2 wounds on Mirror Master. The Rogues struggle, only putting one wound on Magneto.

Round 5: Magneto kills Trickster II and Mirror Master.

Round 6: Trickster I wounds Magneto but ultimately falls.


Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Magneto (2 wounds) wins.

Magenta got to use her d20 modifier, which was quite an annoyance for Magneto. But her Magnetic Throw Defense never activated. And Magneto was a brutal counter to the Rogues, throwing Magenta and Captain Cold out of range for their powers to work. Apart, the Rogues fell easily.

Round 1: The Rogues take out Aqualad (Garth). The Sidekicks put 2 wounds on Magenta and 1 wound on Blacksmith while taking height thanks to Aqualad (Kaldur).

Round 2: Girder and Blacksmith bring Kaldur to 3 wounds, then Magenta is taken out. Weather Wizard puts 2 wounds on Red Arrow and Blacksmith puts 2 wounds on Kid Flash. Speedy wounds Weather Wizard. Weather Wizard takes out Red Arrow then Blacksmith takes out Kid Flash, who never rolled anything but skulls. Wonder Girl, furious, lassoes Blacksmith and kills her. Girder rusts.

Round 3: Weather Wizard puts 2 wounds on Wonder Girl. Speedy takes a disengagement wound and puts 2 wounds on Weather Wizard. Weather Wizard kills Wonder Girl (lost OM3). Speedy takes a disengagement wound and kills Weather Wizard.

Round 4: Girder kills Kaldur and Speedy puts 2 wounds on Girder.

Rounds 5+: Lots of Girder/Robin blocking. But eventually Girder kills them both.

Magenta basically didn’t do anything here since she was killed first. But that’s kind of a testament to her power - leaving her alone is a bad option.

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Felt fun. Magenta isn’t an offensive force, she’s a support figure you place near your enemies and let her unleash havok. If the enemy targets her first, great, as your offensive/leader figures are left alone. If the enemy leaves her alone then she’ll eventually get some 17+ rolls which are brutal to deal with, but it activates so unreliably (and longer range figures can just ignore it), so it’s not something you can count on. Very unique playstyle for a Rogue.

I ran these tests before I noticed Bats’ recommendation to start at 160. That seems really high to me when comparing to other figures in that point range. These results felt fairly balanced at 120, so I’d propose moving forward at 120. If she ends up needing a points increase in PPT that’s cool with me.
