I'd say he's good, personally. The plan was to start the other two heroes with the Freedom Phalanx Coordination power before finalizing any of them, right?

Yeah, all 3 members (Manticore, Positron, Statesman) will have Coordination. A 10 point drop would likely just make him a bit more appealing for non Freedom Phalanx builds, since I want the 3 of them to add up to 700 points when it’s all done. They’ll probably end up being Manticore at 120-130, Positron at 220-230, and Statesman at 350.

I’d appreciate another PT @Ronin . Running him at 120 would be cool.

Heads up, you probably want Emergency Teleportation Network to specify "defends against an opponent's attack". Otherwise you can ping one of your own guys with a crappy attack to mobilize Manticore, which I'm guessing isn't intended.

Manticore had pretty rough luck with the ol' Non-Lethal Quiver in this one, but he was able to use his range and ETN to good effect to keep himself in the game a while (after Warren and Roy both had improbable early deaths).

Looked like he was gonna down Batman for a bit, but Bats hit a couple key evasion rolls to turn the tide.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done: 3 wounds to Batman in 6 attacks (2 evaded)
• Non-Lethal Quiver: 5 rolls, 1 success. Subtracted from Silk Spectre's move
• Emergency Teleportation Network: used 1 time to escape to high ground after Robin attacked Ragdoll, a second time to escape to even higher ground after Manticore was attacked by Batman
• Damage Taken: 2 wound from Batman in 3 attacks, 2 wounds from Evasive Strike (destroyed)

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Batman with 1 Life, Robin and Silk Spectre with full Life

The Archer team was on the ropes for most of this, but they did manage to bring Starfire down pretty quickly, and ping Nightwing enough times that he went down (Clint got hobbled early, else his SA would have sped that along a lot).

Unfortunately by the time they got him down they were all running on fumes, and didn't really have a shot at bringing Raven down.

Unit Summary:

• Damage Done: 2 wounds to Starfire in 2 attacks, 0 wounds to Raven in 1 attack, 0 wounds to Nightwing in 2 attacks
• Non-Lethal Quiver: 7 rolls, 2 successes. Hit Raven with both effects in the same round. Resulted in her not being able to go after Manticore like she wanted
• Emergency Teleportation Network: used 1 time to escape to high ground after being attacked by Raven
• Damage Taken: 3 wounds from Raven in 1 attack, 1 wound from Soul Self

Who won? List figures remaining in the winning army (include life remaining for heroes): Raven with full Life

THOUGHTS ON THE TESTED UNIT'S COST, BALANCE, & DRAFTABILITY: Fine at 120. May want a bump to 130 once the other Phalanx guys are around to be able to leverage that power. Had a fun time with Emergency Teleportation Network. Non-Lethal Quiver felt a little involved for what it does, but I may be biased by my absolutely atrocious luck hitting the roll.

Nice, thanks! I'm cool with pushing him at 130, it's not a huge difference and it seems like you and Arch were on board for that.

I had poor luck with Quiver in my tests too, and since that's his main selling point, I'm gonna drop it to an 11+ for a bit more consistency. I'll get the PTs linked in the morning, and then I'll put the Final Editing vote up. Thanks for the PTs everyone!

Fwiw I hit the rolls just fine on his quiver but it still felt pretty "meh."

His arrows will definitely be more effective against some units than others. Ground pounders without flying can pretty much ignore him.

Got the PTs linked and updated the SP with 11+ on Quiver.

I propose we move to Final Editing at 130 points.

The minus move is still useful against them. The minus range is more match up dependent.
