The destructible object used for this unit is a Maisto Fresh Metal Highway Haulers vehicle.
Its model number and name are 1018 / Hot Rod Hauler.

Object Bio - Have you ever had the feeling during a battle in the city where you wish you could just get away? Well this 18 Wheeler may not help you get away, but if you are being chased by a ground pounder, it can help get you the advantage you need in battle. "Got Range?" Well just hop on the trailer and enjoy the splendid view while you're blasting your enemies down on the ground. Don't get too cocky there big shooter, for you might not be king of the hill for long if your opponent has Super Strength and decides to knock you down to ground level by punching the 18 Wheeler really hard.

-Type of Destructible Object-
  • Destructible Object: A Destructible Object can be targeted, destroyed, and removed from play the same way a figure is. See HERE for additional C3G Destructible Object rules.
-Rulings and Clarifications-
  • Q - If each player controls a figure on top of the trailer of the Parked 18-Wheeler and it receives wounds and/or it is destroyed, which player rolls the d20 first to possibly place their figure in case the 18-Wheeler only took wounds, and which player gets to place their figure first if the 18-Wheeler is destroyed?

    A - Each player rolls a 20-sided die to determine who rolls first for possible placement off of the 18-Wheeler, or who places their figure on spaces previously occupied by the 18-Wheeler.

NAME = PARKED 18-WHEELER

LIFE = 8

DEFENSE = 6

UNSURE FOOTING
When this destructible object receives one or more wounds from a normal attack by an adjacent figure with Super Strength, before placing Wound Markers, roll the 20-sided die for each figure you control on top of it. If you roll 7 or higher, place the figure on an empty space up to 2 spaces from its original placement. When this destructible object is destroyed, after removing it from the battlefield, place all figures you control that were on top of it on any space previously occupied by this destructible object. Moved figures never take any leaving engagement attacks but will receive any falling damage that may apply.




Note: There is no size/height designation for this DO as if it had one it would be affected by some powers that allow movement of "figures". However, this DO can have figures occupy the top of it to gain height advantage. For climbing and height determining purposes, the Trailer has a height of 5. The Trailer occupies 3 full spaces, thus three single spaced figures can occupy the top of the Trailer.

Also, seeing as this exact mini might not be something that everyone can find, I think that it's best to leave the levels of it (height) up to each individual, depending on the model they find. For example: the white one shown is 5 levels high, but I have a red one that is the same length, but the trailer is 6 levels high. Someone might find a flatbed trailer that is 1 or 2 levels high etc. But the common requirement for the model should be that it's 1/64 scale, whether it is by the maker of the one above by Maisto, or by Hotwheels or by any other manufacturer. The stats and power transfer easily to any of them really.

18 Wheelers isn't a term we use but we know what you mean when you say this. Semi-Trailer is what we would commonly call them or Semi's for short. I think we don't use the term 18 Wheeler commonly because that wouldn't include our road trains .

Yeah, we have some road trains too. Maybe "Parked Semi" would be a better name for this DO. It would be more universal around the world and also fit on the card better.

I'll wait 'til the breathing period is up before making the change.

Also, back to what Tickle asked, would it be okay to have the Height on the card without size? Instead of Huge 5, could it just say Height 5? Maybe start a new trend for DO's that we don't want thrown/moved because of being a figure with size/height, but we still want to have a height so that figures can occupy the top of the DO. Those Shipping Containers could be another example where it would be used.

I think that might "muddy the waters" a little too much. Maybe just add some level markings on it, like the castle walls.

That can work too, though it might be kind of hard to see on the card. Since there's no comic card for this, could there be a separate non-card image of this in the OP that would be larger so that the level markings could be seen clearly?

I think we put something about the height in the FAQ area in the OP and leave it off the card for reasons Hahma and A3n mentioned already.

This looks good to me. And Parked Semi-Trailer works for me as a name as well.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
