It already is. What I'm saying is that if, say, Jason's her beloved and he dies, but then comes back, should she still be attacking twice?

I'm not sure that's necessary. Would you not feel more motivated to kick ass and feel overwhelmed with love if someone killed your beloved, regardless if you were able to bring them back?

That's fair, and I'm ok with putting in the exclusion for this reason. Is there a way to maybe word it so that if brought back by her, it doesn't disable it?

You don't have to bring her Beloved back. I wouldn't be trying to bring a burnt out GL back. I might choose someone else in the same army to bring back instead, though, depending on how things go down.

Thematically I'm just fine with it. She's still pissed you killed her loved one, even if they come back.

Heroic Duty pairings would be good too. I definitely don't think she's a bad pairing with GLs at all, though. They might just not be her best resurrection target, which is entirely separate from being her Beloved or not.

Agreed. Good call on that combo, LO. Anyone who can wound themselves for a big payoff is a good Beloved.

I'm not sure that's true beyond figures that can easily come back being valuable in and of themselves. I think it much more encourages play with figures that will fall easily or that make themselves big enough targets to fall.

If you make her Beloved someone who comes back easily, you're doubly discouraging the opposing player from going after her Beloved, because it's going to power her up AND that figure's probably not going to stay dead. So I'm not sure that's a solid strategic move at all.

You might be forgetting about taking out the Beloved yourself in order to get the bonus.

I think the double attacking, even if they come back on their own is fine.

I'd also consider Ruthless Counterstrikers for her beloved as being able to come back takes away a lot of the risk of using such powes.
