Thought I would bump this thread, but also some items to add/change:
You pick 2 (although overlaps with Full Army Draft
Rename Legacy to Delta
Somehow mention allowing customs in your list, especiilay C3V/SoV as well as CUC.
In addition to start zone limits, also figure limits (as new gencon has 16 figure limit but no startzone limit).

The primary ways I like to play are :
1 Highlander: HERO figures only set points and when you kill an opponents figure you may add 1 power or 1 stat point
off that figures card to the Figure that got the kill. And yes we allowed a figure to keep stacking powers until " There Can Be Only One!"
2 Magic Fountain : Place a water tile somewhere on the map ( middle ) and it grants powers or takes powers..
3 Mirror match: all Players have the SAME Army
4 Crazy Customs: set points Custom figs.
5 Romero Nights : normaly each player gets a 500 pt army and must defend with the other players against an Zombie hoard of the same point value In a 6 city block map.
6 Vydar clone base: Build a base witch has spawn points for infinite Vydar clones place a central computer that must be destroyed to stop the clone spawning .
7 Space Invaders: All players must defend against an all SOULBOURG army with the 1 hero restriction removed So multiple Borgs of the same time can be used ( A way to use all those Utgar Soulborgs ) Whole lotta Death walkers and Zetan Guards lol.

Most of the other ways we run game night have been mentioned .

Romero Nights sounds cool. So you have #of players x 500 points worth of Zombies? Does one player control all Zombies? Does the Zombie player use order markers? How many order markers do you give the Zombie player?

OK hey sorry ended up posting that last bit in a hurry ... Ok A Romero Night is set up on a six block city map, I normally use the Marvel set buildings two walls to make one building or I build each building using lego sets so you have a center street with a building on each side 3 sets long add trees and rubble use road tiles etc. Basic rule set up is that yes 500 points of Zombies on the board per player , 1 player runs the zombies and gets 3 turn markers per player or 500 points of zombies .You can just use Lots of Zombies of Morindan or proxies for them. I have A LOT of them as well as custom Zombie Lord hero figures ( you can proxie anything as a zombie Lord by just making it UNDEAD and giving a fig Zombie Bonding : before moving a Zombie squad you may move only 3 zombies and ( lord Figure ) instead of using Horde Movement . I also Have Custom Zombie Squads like Las Plagas from Resident Evil. So Players can start in the middle of the city with zambie forces starting on the outter edge of the map or both forces starting on opposing sides of the city . I will run an example here we will say 4 players so 3 player armies of 500 vs 1 player with 1500 points of Zombie forces players 1-4 get normal turn markers the 1 player running the Zombies gets a set of turn markers per players so in this case 3 sets ( I use 3 diffent colors such as Marvel Blue,Swamp Green ,and ROTV sets. Zombie player can either declair e which color goes first or not . So one way Zombie player could say Blue 1st, Green second and ROTV 3rd.. Players all roll initiative then set up markers. ((NOTE players and Zombies ALWAYS take turns so you will not have player player or zombie zombie turns happening ))))Turn would run like this umm player 1 use turn marker 1, zombies use a turn 1 marker of the set color say BLUE 1, Player 2 uses turn marker 1 ,Zombie player uses Green turn marker 1,Player 3 uses turn marker 1, Zombie player uses ROTV turn marker 1, repeat for 2, 3, and X turn markers. If a player 1-3 dies Zombie forces loose 1 set of turn markers. Play till one side wins Zombies or players.....

Well met!

I believe this to be a unique format with a plethora of possible variants:

The Dirty Dozen Freeze!



Map. Mt. Thaelink’s Saddle V.2 by Nomad. Replace Power Glyphs with Brandar’s Chests.

Blizzard Conditions. Heavy Snow and Slippery Ice rules in effect.

Armies. Team game. 600 points/player. Classic, AoA, C3V, SoV, allowed; no Marvel. Each army must have exactly 12 figures.

Victory Conditions. After 10 Rounds, The team with the most Victory Points (VPs) wins. VPs awarded as follows:

1 VP for each Brandar’s Chest in your Start Zone. It need not be in your possession, but must not be in an opponent’s.

3 VPs for the most figures killed by a single player, as opposed to an entire team.

2 VPs for the second most figures killed by a single player.
