The Fords of Isen
The Fords of Isen
Cast between the southern slopes of the Misty Mountains and the Gap of Rohan, the river Isen flows south. This battlefield, on the Eastern shore, south of Isengard, features a junction of the North-South road with the path to the Keep of Saruman. This map is more of a showcase of my terrain, though I am going to be making a series of maps. All of them will be hexagonal in shape. I am privy to how it looks. Recommended Scenarios: Good Side: Have a company of Heroes or Heroes with associated squads make it from the slopes on the Eastern side to exit off of the map on the Western side of the river. Bad Side: Eliminate the Heroes. Purely Cinematic Setup. Theophilus. |

Re: The Fords of Isen
It would be difficult for me to ascertain for certain the number of sets. I have 1 sotm, and 4 rotv, as well as 2 marvel, 3 fota, 2 rttff, 2 tt, and 2 vw.
I modified all of my grass terrain beyond recognition, and the entire map is several layers think to allow for rivers to have that deep look I appreciate. the hexagon is 12 on each side (unless I am mistaken) and 23 corner to corner across the center of the map. the trees are atypical as I made them myself. It plays relatively fast, with maneuvering being paramount, which is why I like the hexagon shape for maps. Theophilus. |
