What Video Game are you Currently Playing?

After seeing similar threads for books, and music, I figured why not one for video games?

I am working on Dynasty Warriors 6 (XBox 360), I have gotten 1 officer (Sun Shang Xiang) to level 50 and am working on unlocking the remaining characters.

Civilization: Beyond the Sword. That game gets in your head. I'm nearly on Prince difficulty, using a cottage economy and a builder gamestyle.

I've got an older computer, so I play Diablo 2, Starcraft, and Civilization 3. Love them all!

One Game to rule them all, One Game to find them,
One Game to bring them all and in their wallets bind them
In the Land of Valhalla where the Valkyrie lie.

Some Warhammer Online with a side of Warhammer Online. A dessert of Warhammer Online also accompanies the meal.

Re: What Video Game are you Currently Playing?

PC: Civilization: Beyond the Sword (I have owned every version of this game. It is without a doubt the best franchise ever! )

PS3: Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (My MK skills have always been a bit lacking so, I'm trying to catch-up.)
Rock Band 2 (I can now perform some of the easier songs on hard.)

Word! High-five, brother! You ever consider playing a by-email game? I still play at noble, so I'd probably get creamed, but oh, well.

I have never played a by-e-mail game. How are they? If I can get some free time I will definitely send you a PM. That game tend to take-over my life and I can't afford to let that happen right now.

Oh man.. Starcraft was like Crack rock to us back in college. Actually, as a freshman I remember networking Warcraft II over the dorm phone lines.

Greenscreen Telnet consoles were huge at college back then.. so when we came and had East dorm vs West dorm tournaments on our "Pentiums" we were like gods heralding in the new golden age of computing.

Still I remember one kid getting kicked out because he was so addicted to Telnet MUD's that he quit going to class..

But I digress.

Currently I'm playing Advance Wars: Dual Strike and the roguelike homebrew, "Powder" on my DS. Also, if anyone likes Lemmings and has a NDS there's a homebrew port of every original title and map from all seven or so original Lemmings titles. The only difference is that it utilises the dual screen to display the overview map more promninently while the other screeen shows your current lemmings. Very cool stuff.

Ahhh, yes, Starcraft. Speaking of which, has anyone played Starcraft 2 yet? They did release it didn't they? It's supposed to be 3 parts, 1 disk Terrain, 1 disk Protoss, and 1 Zerg. Gotta love me some Zerg (Queen of the Blades!).

Heroscape is a gateway into a wonderful world of games that I never would've known existed otherwise.

No its supposed to be later this year, but Blizzard never releases anything on time. That's OK, since they never have bugs either.

Now through May 28th, the Louisville region is in desperate need of platelets - call the Red Cross if you are interested in donating!
