He can be devastating to orc squads, as they must be clustered to do damage. Well, except Heavy Gruts. He is also fairly good against Marro druge squads.

He's mostly just an easy and cheap way to work in an explosion attack into your army. Especially if his point cost happens to be your remaining points when drafting.

I like to put him with the 10th Reg.x3, putting the cost at 290, then spending the remaining 210pts on braxas if my opponent gets mosly squads.

It feels weird to me that they went with "only needs a clear sight shot at the chosen figure", with how his shotgun blast can essentially go through a wall because of the chosen figure's adjacency.

Game was definitely meant to be simple ^^ aimed at a younger or family audience.
