Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (II)
I copied right from Bats 1, and his is hyphenated.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (II)
ah, so it's the rest that didn't follow.
Would I want it to be everything I love...sure...but that's just not realistic so I'm going to focus on finding things that will make me unhappy and work on fixing those. |

I copied from the original, thank goodness.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
Since this wave is coming up, I want to mention this too. I've been thinking that Deduction is fairly lackluster, being only a once-per-round power. I know people have completely forgotten to use it as well. Chatting with Bats, he thinks it's fine as is. Just curious on others' opinions before release though. Could make it once per player turn, and I don't think he'd be broken (And I definitely don't want to adjust his cost).

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
I could see doing something like this:
TACTICAL DEDUCTION Before taking a turn with Robin, you may choose an opponent’s figure within 4 clear sight spaces. Look at all Order Markers on that figure’s Army Card and, once during this player turn, when attacking a figure from the chosen figure's Army Card, you may subtract 1 from its defense dice. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. Definitely more useful as a whole. I could test it, but also was wondering if anyone thought the same as me. I don't want to create a problem if there isn't one.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
I've definitely looked at this guy before and thought he seemed a little soft relative to points. I could get behind Bats' spin.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
Yeah Bat's suggestion works for me.
BTW Paired with Secret I never felt he was soft. She's just enough deterrent where he gets a few extra free shots off before someone gets annoyed enough to take a shot at him. |

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
I always found him worth his cost as well, the Tactical Deduction just never did terribly much for me.
He's also pretty good in a Gundam. C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
Yeah his bonding is good (And obviously good in a Gundam!), I'd just like one of his powers to not be as lame. Also in Gundams the Deduction is useless so it doesn't affect that interaction.
I'll probably use it in a test soon and see how it feels. I think I have a few weeks before this release. |

I believe it releases end of August.

Re: The Book of Robin (Tim Drake) (Young Justice)
I'd agree with Bats that I think Robin is easily worth his cost - the bonding to Young Justice is quite valuable, especially with the soft synergy of the faction like Secret backing him up. But Tactical Deduction also isn't anything crazy, as it's a fairly forgettable power.
If you're swapping it to once per turn, viewing all OMs on each card becomes pretty strong. I might switch it to an either/or - either he gets to look at OMs or he can do the defense drop thing. |
