Re: The Book of Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) - Design Phase
C
B is an ugly figure, and the other two have ugly terrain. Not to mention black and purple look the best on her. |

That's 5 votes for B, making that are clear winner.

Re: The Book of Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) - Design Phase
NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Batgirl
- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them. Pass - MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the game. Pass - BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding. Pass - SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit too powerful or too weak. Pass - POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and what are the stipulations on the power if there are any. Pass - FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play. Pass - FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against. Pass - DRAFTING TEST/ Consider whether or not this design is worth drafting. Pass - USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable. Pass - STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game. Pass _____________________________________________________________ Heavy Hitter or Mid-Level Hero Test- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 110-140 - Give a brief overview. She went 2-4, but it’s tough to judge her value in one-on-one. Map: Island Plane Crash
Spoiler Alert!
_____________________________________________________________ Squad Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 110-130 - Give a brief overview. Some poor rolls doomed Batgirl. Map: Island Plane Crash Units: Intargang Agents (120 points) Who won and how many wounds did they have? R2T1: A single Intergang Agent. _____________________________________________________________ Squad Test - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 110-130 - Give a brief overview. Batgirl had trouble piercing the Thunderers defense. Map: Island Plane Crash Units: Thunderers of Qward (130) Who won and how many wounds did they have? R2T3: 1 Thunderer. _____________________________________________________________ Army Test 1 - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 120-140 - Give a brief overview. This was a game of tough defensive powers. Magnetic Throw Defense, Shadow Strike, Mental Walls, Acrobatic Maneuver, and Defensive Premonition made for tricky play from both teams. The Legionnaires seemed to have this one for most of the game, but a few badly timed defense whiffs spelled out their end. Batgirl had a couple attacks blocked by MTD, but she managed to do a fair amount by the end. Map: Swamp Lab Units: Batgirl (120), Batman:II (250), Batgirl:Cain (130), Robin:Grayson (100), Nite Owl (130), Weather Wizard (100) (830) VS Cosmic Boy (260), Colossal Boy (175), Lightning Lad (180), Saturn Girl (220) (835) Unit Summary: Damage: 3 wounds to Cosmic Boy, 1 to Lightning Lad. Vigilante Rivalry: 6 attacks boosted by +2. Reckless Advance: 4 times used; 0 wounds taken.
Spoiler Alert!
After this game, I’m feeling like the potential for 5 Attack plus an automatic skull is too much for her. I’m changing Vigilante Rivalry to this: Quote:
- Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 120-130 - Give a brief overview.Barbara acted as something of an Assassin in this one, trying to slip around the opponent’s defenses and take on Cyclops. She didn’t quite make it, but she dealt a few wounds. Initiative in the fourth round was critical. I’m going to try this one again from that point as if she won init. After Batman went down, Cable was absolutely nuts. Dude is crazy if he has height. Map: Swamp Lab Units: Batgirl (120), Batman:II (250), Batgirl:Cain (130), Robin:Grayson (100), Nite Owl (130), Commander Rogers (250) (980) VS Cyclops (190), Jean Grey (180), Cable (275), Emma Frost (170), Armor (100) (975) Unit Summary: Damage: 1 wound to Jubilee, 2 to Cyclops, Vigilante Rivalry: 3 attacks boosted. Reckless Advance: 0 times used; 0 wounds taken.
Spoiler Alert!
Army Test 2.5 - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 130 - Give a brief overview. With the Initiative win, Babs was able to get that final hit on Cyclops, which was a big boost to her team. The big difference in this one though, was Rogers coming out on top of the fight against Cable, and unwounded no less. An unwounded Rogers is one of the best clean-up forces in the game. Map: Swamp Lab Units: Batgirl (120), Batman:II (250), Batgirl:Cain (130), Robin:Grayson (100), Nite Owl (130), Commander Rogers (250) (980) VS Cyclops (190), Jean Grey (180), Cable (275), Emma Frost (170), Armor (100) (975) Unit Summary: Damage: 1 wound to Jubilee, 4 to Cyclops, 2 to Emma. Vigilante Rivalry: 5 attacks boosted. Reckless Advance: 1 times used; 0 wounds taken.
Spoiler Alert!
Army Test 3 - Does it pass, Yes or No? Yes - What should be the unit's point value? 120-130 - Give a brief overview. This game was more for fun than anything else. Three Batgirls and two Robins against an Arkham breakout. Babs got two turns and one attack, but made the best of it. Map: Swamp Lab Units: Batgirl:Barbara (130), Batgirl:Cassandra (130), Batgirl:Stephanie (130), Robin: Dick (100), Robin: Damian (80) (570) VS Scorpion (200), Joker:II (140), Harley Quinn (130), Ragdoll (100) (570) Unit Summary: Damage: 2 wounds to Scorpion, Vigilante Rivalry: 1 attacks boosted. Reckless Advance: 1 times used; 0 wounds taken.
Spoiler Alert!
With that change to the rivalry power, I'm feeling 130 moving forward, with the potential to move up or down about 10 points based on public tests. Any thoughts? Re: The Book of Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) - Design Phase
I sort of suspected an auto-skull would feel like too much for her, so I'm good with that change. Overall the results look on the lower side to me, but I'm good with 130 for Playtesting. So Pre-Yea there.

Pre-yea at 130.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.
