She might be a bit tricky to play effectively... as she's not that useful unless she's coming out on OM 3 and by that time, it might be difficult to get her within striking distance. That being said, potential for 5 attack + an autoskull could be a good value if she comes in around 120 points (which I suspect is likely).

A couple things to note: Vigilante Rivalry is not limited to revealed nor numbered OMs. Dropping 3 and 'X' on Batman will allow her to hit hard on OMs 1 and 2.

- Give a brief overview.This was a game of tough defensive powers. Magnetic Throw Defense, Shadow Strike, Mental Walls, Acrobatic Maneuver, and Defensive Premonition made for tricky play from both teams. The Legionnaires seemed to have this one for most of the game, but a few badly timed defense whiffs spelled out their end. Batgirl had a couple attacks blocked by MTD, but she managed to do a fair amount by the end.

Batman chooses Shurikens, Grapple, and Pellet.

Round One: Both armies move out, but Weather Wizard’s Fog Cover prevents any wounds.

Round Two: Colossal Boy and Cosmic Boy team up to KO Weather Wizard, though it takes them the whole round. Saturn Girl also puts a wound on Batman, but Colossal Boy takes 3 wounds from Batman.

Round Three: Robin takes wound, but he and Cassandra Cain keep Lightning Lad locked down. Cosmic Boy is the big threat in this game, preventing a great attack from Babs, and dealing a wound to Batman when he moved in to attack. Saturn Girl deals him another wound with Psychic Blast.

Round Four: Batman is killed by Cosmic Boy’s Magnetic Throw Defense, while Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl focus on Robin, dealing him a wound. Babs’ attack roll is blocked by Cosmic Boy, but Robin KOs Saturn Girl with a lucky roll. Nite Owl manages a wound on Lightning Lad.

Round Five: Babs once again has a good attack ruined by Cosmic Boy, and Batman is killed by Lightning Lad. Lightning Lad also kills Robin. Nite Owl takes a leaving engagement wound and another wound from MTD, and is then KOed by Cosmic Boy.

Round Six: Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy fail to do any damage. Batgirl Grapples to the top of the lab and attacks Cosmic Boy: 4 skulls + auto VS failed MTD roll(!) and 0 defense = no more Cosmic Boy! Lightning Lad deals 3 wounds to Cain, but Cain deals 3 in return.

Round Seven: Lightning Lad finishes off Cain. Babs moves in and gets a total of 4 skulls. Lightning Lad whiffs!

R7T2: Batgirl:Barbara Gordon with 2/4 wounds.

After this game, I’m feeling like the potential for 5 Attack plus an automatic skull is too much for her. I’m changing Vigilante Rivalry to this:

When taking a turn with Batgirl, if there are at least two Order Markers on the cards of other Vigilantes or Sidekicks you control, add 2 to her Range number and 1 to her Attack number.

- Give a brief overview.Barbara acted as something of an Assassin in this one, trying to slip around the opponent’s defenses and take on Cyclops. She didn’t quite make it, but she dealt a few wounds. Initiative in the fourth round was critical. I’m going to try this one again from that point as if she won init. After Batman went down, Cable was absolutely nuts. Dude is crazy if he has height.

Round One: Batman takes a couple early wounds from Cable, but deals a wound in return. Armor rushes in to engage Babs, takes a wound from Robin. Jean fails her TK roll, but a 4-skull roll forces Batman to burn the Smoke Pellet.

Round Two: Jean fails her TK rolls twice more, and Batman makes her pay for it, KOing her in two turns. Jubilee deals a wound to Robin, but he and Babs each deal her a wound in return. Cable inflicts one more on Batman, but can’t finish the job.

Round Three: Babs begins a charge at Cyclops by dealing a wound to him. Cyke disengages from Robin and sends Cable after Batman. This time Cable is on the money and KOs Batman. Babs deals another wound to Cyclops, Cable successfully disengages from Cain and deals 2 wounds to Babs.

Round Four: Mutants win Initiative and Cable finishes off Babs. Nite Owl KOs Jubilee, Robin fails on Cyclops. Cable then kills Nite Owl in a single turn, taking a disengagement wound from Cain. On the next turn, he deals two wounds to Rogers, who charges out.

Round Five: Rogers kills Cable, begins a charge toward Cyclops. Cyke finally takes down Robin and puts 2 wounds on Rogers, staying as far back as possible.

Round Six: Rogers finishes off Cyclops, but is killed by Emma. Emma then moves underneath the overhang and blasts Cain with her SA. 4 skulls to no shields, Cain is done!

R6T5: Emma Frost unwounded, Armor with 1/3 wounds.

- What should be the unit's point value? 130
- Give a brief overview.With the Initiative win, Babs was able to get that final hit on Cyclops, which was a big boost to her team. The big difference in this one though, was Rogers coming out on top of the fight against Cable, and unwounded no less. An unwounded Rogers is one of the best clean-up forces in the game.

Round Four: With Init, Babs is able to take down Cyclops, costing the Mutants 2 OMs. Robin deals a wound to Emma, but Cain is unable to wound Cable at all, and takes 3 wounds from him.

Round Five: Emma’s SA takes down Cain, and frees Cable to take out Nite Owl. Robin puts 2 more wounds on Emma, and then Babs finishes her off (Emma whiffed all three times on defense!). Rogers ends the round by charging in.

Round Six: Cable finishes off Babs, but can’t kill Robin. He rolls poorly against Rogers though, and takes a wound. Rogers then engages and KOs him, followed by Jubilee.

Round Seven: Armor puts up a very good fight against Rogers, but eventually falls.

R7T6: Rogers with 3/5 wounds and Robin with 1/3 wounds.

- Give a brief overview.This game was more for fun than anything else. Three Batgirls and two Robins against an Arkham breakout. Babs got two turns and one attack, but made the best of it.

Round One: Things start rough for the Batgirls, Scorpion deals 3 wound to Cassandra and 1 to Steph. Harley’s Bomb does 2 each to Dick and Babs.

Round Two: Babs gets in a solid hit on Scorpion, but he keeps beating on the Batgirls, with Tail Whip doing a lot of damage to the hard to wound figures. By the end of the round, it’s Steph and Damian against the Insanos.

Round Three: Steph and Damian make things a lot closer with Damian KOing Scorpion and Steph taking down Harley. Joker makes his way forward.

Round Four: Joker manages two wounds on Steph, but falls to their combined attacks.

Round Five: Damian rolls 3/3 skulls and one-shots Ragdoll before he can even make his way toward the duo.

R5T1: Steph with 3/4 wounds and Damian unwounded.

With that change to the rivalry power, I'm feeling 130 moving forward, with the potential to move up or down about 10 points based on public tests. Any thoughts?

I sort of suspected an auto-skull would feel like too much for her, so I'm good with that change. Overall the results look on the lower side to me, but I'm good with 130 for Playtesting. So Pre-Yea there.
