Character Bio - After NYPD detective Sara Pezzini was mortally wounded while working undercover, an item of unimaginable mystical power known as the Witchblade chose her as its host. Latest in a long line of women to receive this "blessing," she is forced to bring balance to the forces of good and evil, order and chaos. Now with a higher purpose than solving the occasional murder, Sara is forced to battle everything from drug runners to false gods - not to mention the violent and unpredictable power of the Witchblade itself.

WITCHBLADE SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 1 + Special. Attack 7 + Special.
Before attacking with this special attack, special powers of all Angels, Demons, and Undead within 3 spaces of Witchblade are negated until the end of this turn. When attacking with this special attack, you may subtract any number of attack dice from your roll, to a minimum of 5 attack dice, and add that number to this special attack's Range number for this turn. Witchblade cannot use this special attack if she moved with her Flying special power this turn.

BIO-ADAPTIVE DEFENSE 5
When rolling defense dice, roll additional dice equal to the Attack number of the attacking figure, up to a maximum of 5 additional dice.

First off big thanks to Hahma on the direction here.

A few things - first of all, should she be Top Cow or Image? Top Cow is a subset of Image so I'm not sure.

Secondly, what miniature should we use? THIS ONE is cheaper and more common, THIS ONE is a lot cooler looking.

And of course, how do we feel about the powerset? I'm not entirely familiar with the character (at least, in this iteration), so any pointers there would be welcomed.

Yeah, absolute shot in the dark on the price. I realized I had her listed at 150 for whatever reason when I was posting the thread, which might have been a bit too low. Maybe.

She looks pretty cool! The special attack will really wedge her in as a counter draft, but hopefully we're OK with that.

Her defensive power and healing factor should keep her around for a while. I wonder if Adaptive Resistance on Nimrod is reusable here? Though she probably wouldn't get too much use out of that if she's always healing up.

Should Bio-Adaptive Defense only work against normal attacks? The attack number wouldn't really be relevant against special attacks. Also, a figure regularly rolling 8 defense against all attacks with 4 life and Healing Factor is the scary thing here.
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Bio-Adaptive Defense could definitely be normal-only (and we can always fiddle with the number there) - but keep in mind that She-Hulk has Hard Body and Gamma Healing with 6 Life, which isn't exactly the same but is in the same ballpark.

Good stuff there Johnny. Glad I can help a little bit.

That special attack is really neat and seems to capture the theme with the specific nasty vs. Angels, Demons and Undead. She will tear Grundy a new one, unless he trashes her first.

The defensive power perhaps can go vs. normal only, though I believe the Witchblade entity or whatever adapts to protect her depending on what she's going against. But, mechanics/gameplay over theme can certainly trump this

Well perhaps then instead of up to +5, up to +4 could work better.
